| Anyone have a Chihuahua? Hi everyone. Hope someone can help me. My family has been talking about adding another addition to the family. I was trying and trying to convince them to get another yorkie. I realize now that I was the one who really wanted another yorkie. I also then realized that my baby and Odie were enough for me. I am content. How-ever my family has decided to get another puppy, a Chihuahua. It will actually be my mom's puppy. I will help spoil her though. We went to look at some puppies from a local breeder. I did my research and went into the breeders home. I wanted to see where the puppies were raised and to see the parents and all that good stuff. I asked a ton of questions. I found everything checked out. My mom had her choice of two female puppies, she chose a little brown one with a black mask. She is darling. Friendly, bouncy, happy and healthy. I'm driving my mom over tomorrow to pick up her new bundle of joy. But I'm a little nervous. I'm not sure if bringing a Chi puppy home is going to be any different from bringing a yorkie puppy home. I have everything my mom needs, food, bowls, etc. Nutrical. Should I give the puppy some when we pick her up? Any advice about anything would be great. lol. i'm just nervous because my baby yorkie is pretty much grown and my mom's Chi seems so little. I'm sure it will be all right. I'm prepared, I think. |

| Any puppy, despite the breed needs the same exact thing: love, food, water, a place to sleep, and a place to potty. It'll be fine. Since she'll be in a new home, watch her eating habits and if she seems to be eating fine, then you probably won't have to use the nutrical. If she's not eating, definitely give it to her. Hope to see pictures of the new fluff soon!

| My husband's cousin has a chihauhau, we doggie sit for her everyso often. Her and HazelNut are inseparable, play till they are worn right out and than sleep together. HazelNut dosns't like many other dogs, but she loves this Chihauhau. ( I'd prefer a Yorki, easier to spell) I tried to add a picture but my fike is to big |

| Delsi, my little 2 pound Chihuahua, had a stroke and died Sept. 07. I had her since she was 12 weeks old and boy was she ever bit the glue in this family. I miss her so very much. You don't really need to do anything special with your moms new baby. If she stops eating try her on some chicken and white rice and a pea size bit of Nutrical. Hope to see lots of pictures of this baby.
