| Anyone get any good buys on Black Friday? Sooo...who all went shopping after Thanksgiving? Any good deals? Do share..... I didn't get up and go...but DH had to run into work for awhile...so DD and I went to see Twilight (again) and stopped by a store that had all their stuff 50-75% and got her and pair of boots that were normally around $200 for about $80! - she had been wanting some boots and that was part of her Christmas presents! We are shopping today (DD has a friend over)...we will see what we can find.

| I didn't even call my MIL who I know got up and was out of the house by 4am....I will have to call her to see if she got anything good. I am hoping to knock out almost all -- if not all -- of my holiday shopping today....I don't know how that will work with my DD and her friend....we shall see...

| I went to Wal-Mart when they opened at 4am yesterday. I usually avoid all stores like the plague on Black Friday, but we are getting my daughter a trampoline for Christmas and they had them fro $140 instead of the $217 that they have been for the past few months. I got one and was out in 9 minutes and back home sleeping in my bed again by 5:30. |

| We have an outlet mall here in my town and they did a midnight madness thing were the outlet stores opened up at midnight Friday morning. I had to work Thanksgiving night (I work at a hospital) after work I went to the midnight madness with another coworker then went for home for 3 hours sleep and went into work at 7 am friday morning. My deals were: Nine West boots for $50 Dooney and Bourke purse for $60, orginally 150 Gap 2 men's shirts for $6 each when orginally 16.99 each. As I left the outlet mall I drove by our Best Buy and yes there were people sleeping outside.

| I was out shopping at 6 am. I only had one goal to purchase a luggage set that was orginally $229 and I got it for $59. Its a 7 peice set and the quality is pretty decent for the price. I am going on a 7 day cruise and have to fly to florida to debark. I have luggage but nothing matches and its all black that is so hard to determine if its mine or not at the baggage claim. This new set is blue. Other than that I didnt find that the deals were all that great. Most places i went to, seemed to mark up there prices and then discount them. |

| One thing I learned working retail for four years... a lot of places will mark down a few "hot items" but leave everything else the same price. They'll put the "hot items" in the back of the store so you have to go through all of the regular priced items in front and you'll see things you like going through there. Retailers KNOW people WILL spend money on black friday and they do take advantage. Not everything goes on sale, but you really can find SOME great deals out there.

| We went to Costcos and got a 42' LCD tv for $699 and on Sunday we went back and it was $1000. The only thing that made me really mad was Walmart had the tv we bought last year for $798 and we paid $1699 for it. I feel like I got ripped off.

| What I thought was kinda funny (I guess not for those who went out on Friday...) was last night we went to Walmart they had all the Black Friday sale stuff out still! We got Peter Pan and Ratatouille for 9 dollars each.
