| Yes, I agree but it's all about the selling. I was in several stores today and they all had it on. I love Christmas music too but dh drives me crazy with it. It's always on in the car!

| It's really ridiculous. My boyfriend and I went to Wal-mart like a day or 2 after Halloween and they already had their Christmas trees up in the front of the stores and were turning the lights on them on . They also had the Christmas music blasting. Oh and I remember last year during this time I was working retail. They started playing the Christmas music so soon that by Christmas time I was soooooo sick of it.

| I agree with you...I was in Wal-mart last week and was shocked to hear Christmas music already- stop rushing it! We haven't had time to get all of the Halloween decorations put away!

| I feel the same way! I've been in a couple of places where Christmas decorations have already taken over - I couldn't believe it! I love Christmas music and decorations - but I don't think it's appropriate until after Thanksgiving.

| I like it after thanksgiving too. thats just one of our family traditions when I was growing up christmas after thanksgiving I have just kept it that way with mine family also. I love the music mine youngest daughter (26 yrs old) was singing the "I want a hippo song" to her baby the other day.

| Like the day after halloween, I was at Joann's with my mom. They were playing christmas music. We both were annoyed that they rushed it that much. Instead of taking as long as we usually do in there, we rushed grabbed what we came for and got out. The cashier also agreed it was too soon and we let her know that is why we are leaving. We went over to hobby lobby to buy the rest of the stuff that I was looking for. I didn't notice it really at walmart until I went in the christmas section of the store BUT I expect it to be playing in there.

YT 2000 Club Member | I don't mind the decorations and trees coming out so soon, as I am alway's adding new ornaments to my tree. I am one who will go to the year round Christmas stores in the summer time As for the music, it can get a bit much by the time Christmas rolls around. I really think they should have a warning for the sad songs like "the Christmas Shoes" so that I am not bawling my eyes out in front of people. Also how many thanksgiving songs are out their? I only know of the Adam Sandler's Thanksgiving song! Now in my family,we have a little game of keep tract how many times the music station plays it till thanksgiving is over with.My sister heard it one year 17 times while we only heard it 5! Now some of the lyrics are not too nice for younger children, and Grandma might have a heart spell if she heard it,but We think it's a funny song. And I am glad they don't over play it LOL

| I know! I was at dollar tree yesterday and they had a huge Christmas section put up with Jingle Bells blasting from the stereo. I wanted to buy things but I don't like putting up Christmas decorations until after thanksgiving. I can't wait until Christmas so that I have an excuse to buy gifts and decorations! I have decided to be creative this year and make gift baskets with assorted bought and baked goods for everyone! I can't wait!
