Donating YT Addict | Need advice on a gift???? Ok this is probably off the wall but I'm out of ideas and I need help. My best friend is taking her last chemo treatment tomorrow. YAY I wanted just to get her a little something special, but not sure what to get. When she first told she had breast cancer (april 08) I did all kinds of things, prepared supper for her and her family, bought candles, bath stuff, and dropped little cards to her all this time, so she would feel special because I hated her to have to go through such a horrible thing. I just was wondering if anyone has any suggestions, I would really appreciate it. Oh and she's not a animal person...lol well she has a dog and a cat, but they are outside...we live way out in the country. But she's not as crazy about animals as I am they are mostly her teenagers pets. thanks for your advice......i know you guys probably have some good ideas that I haven't thought of.

| Wow... all I can think of is something not material, but something fun .... like a dinner out, or a short day trip with you, something you both really love to do but haven't done for a while. Think about it, and something will come to you and you may say "aha!". ...Whatever that "aha" is, do that. |

| A friend gave me a special gift one time for my birthday. It was a small charm bracelet with about 10 little charms on it. Each charm represented something we did together in our lives. For example, there was a little airplane ..which represented the thousands of miles we lived apart but always found time to visit each other. And when she gave it to me..she typed out on a notecard what each charm represented. I thought it was creative.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Maybe a spa day or I made a small scrapbook for my Bestfriedm and she loved it. Or if you have a Things Remembered store near you or go online they have a lot of nice gifts that can be engraved. That is so sweet of you and I am sure she is so grateful for your caring ways.

| I think all of the ideas have been great....I love the idea of a day trip...just you and her. Maybe doing somethings or going some place you guys use to go/do. You could actually take a trip down memory lane. You are a special friend for all you have done for her...that is great! and I am sure she appreciates all of it more than you will ever know! Sorry she is going thru this....I pray that she will overcome it soon!

| Around here, we live amongst Mennonites, they'll go over before the people get home and clean their house. Some even cook supper for that night. |
