I Love My Babies Donating Member | Passing The Purple Hat To You Passing the Purple Hat to You IN honor of women's history month and in memory of Erma Bombeck who lost her fight with cancer. Here is an 'angel' sent to watch over you. Pass this on to five women that you want watched over. If you don't know five women to pass this on to, one will do just fine. http://us.mg2.mail.yahoo.com/ya/down...Inbox&inline=1 IF I HAD MY LIFE TO LIVE OVER - by Erma Bombeck (written after she found out she was dying from cancer). I would have gone to bed when I was sick instead of pretending the earth would go into a holding pattern if I weren't there for the day. I would have burned the pink candle sculpted like a rose before it melted in storage. I would have talked less and listened more. I would have invited friends over to dinner even if the carpet was stained, or the sofa faded. I would have eaten the popcorn in the 'good' living room and worried much less about the dirt when someone wanted to light a fire in the fireplace. I would have taken the time to listen to my grandfather ramble about his youth. I would have shared more of the responsibility carried by my husband. I would never have insisted the car windows be rolled up on a summer daybecause my hair had just been teased and sprayed. I would have sat on the lawn with my grass stains. I would have cried and laughed less while watching television and more while watching life. I would never have bought anything just because it was practical, wouldn't show soil, or was guaranteed to last a lifetime. Instead of wishing away nine months of pregnancy, I'd have cherished every moment and realized that the wonderment growing inside me was the only chance in life to assist God in a miracle. When my kids kissed me impetuously, I would never have said, 'Later. Now go get washed up for dinner.' There would have been more 'I love you's' More 'I'm sorry's.' But mostly, given another shot at life, I would seize every minute.look at it and really see it .. Live it and never give it back. STOP SWEATING THE SMALL STUFF!!! Don't worry about who doesn't like you, who has more, or who's doing what. Instead, let's cherish the relationships we have with those who do love us. http://us.mg2.mail.yahoo.com/ya/down...Inbox&inline=1 If you don't mind, send this on to all the women you are grateful to have as friends. Maybe we should all grab that purple hat earlier. Please send this to five phenomenal women today in celebration of Beautiful Women's Month. If you do, something good will happen--you will boost another woman's self esteem.

| Thank you sooooo much!! I am going to find two purple hats, pick up my friend who has lost her hair to chemo, put a purple hat on my head and one on her little bald one and we are going to do something fun!! Even if she only has the energy to drag herself, purple hat and all, out and crawl into my Corvette with the top down, we are going to have fun!! We have what we have .... we should enjoy it!!!

What a great friend you are. That sounds like loads of fun. My ex sister in law had breast cancer and she decide to have both removed when only one was affected. She has had stage 3 when she found out and she has fought very hard and long. She has 2 children age 8 girl, age 11 boy and her cancer has moved so many different places. They now tell her she has a limited amount of time and now has it in her pelvic bone. I sometimes find it hard to figure out what to say. I feel for her children and her husband. Its really taken a toll on him as well. Its a reminder for all of us we never know what is around the corner. Live with all we can and be happy with those around us!!!!
