| Poor Dog... I just was walking to Dunkin Donuts and i saw a black little shtzu tied up to a parking meter.. His little tounge was hanging out of his mouth... I got a Tropicana Coolata and since there was condensation on the outside, i let him lick it for a little while before i left.. I hope the owner comes back soon.. I would never leave Lily Mae tied up and especially in this heat o a hot sidewalk

| Poor dog!!. I wish owners would stop to think how it would feel if they were in that position. You should've called the cops. I know in most places they don't do anything, but maybe it would have scared the owner. I read not to long ago where a dog had died because the owner duct taped his mouth shut because he wouldn't stop barking. Since the poor dog couldn't pant or get water he died of a heat stroke. It's awful the things people do. They may not have to answer while there alive but I firmly believe that one day they will have to answer to a higher power and the punishment will be far worse than they can imagine. |

| Ugh, i hate when I see things like that...Just this afternoon I saw a lil dog outside of McDonalds tied to a stroller...And I say to myself (and my mom) Why take the dog with you if you know you are going places they are not allowed, esp. food service places...I dont know...Would you leave your child outside?? I think not!! What ticks me off even more is when I see the dogs in the car alone!! UGHHHHH!!! Would ya leave your baby in the car alone, AGAIN I THINK NOT!! Maybe it is just people like myself, who treat their animal like it is their child, that think like this...Who knows!! But it bugs the crapola outta me!!

| That's horrible!!!!!! The very thought of that thirsty little dog outrages me...I think when the owner returns someone should handcuff them to the meter for a while and see how they feel about it.

| I wish dogs were welcome everywhere so people wouldn't be tempted to tie their dogs up outside or leave them in the car. This is one of the reasons I encourage anyone who qualitifes to have their dog trained as a service dog so they are welcome EVERYWHERE and don't need to be left home alone or tied up somewhere when out. |

| I have never understood the logic of tying a dog outside. It is so dangerous for them. Another dog can attack it, it can break away, someone could step on it or drop something on it, or someone could just take it (this happened to a friend of mine!) Sad, really. |

I disagree w/ the big dog/small dog distinction. No dog should be tied up, unless its for like 2 mins while you run in to get a pack of gum or something. Its illegal here.

| I'm just saying that I treat Stewie and my old Lab Midnite exactly the same. Stewie is not more special because he's small
