| A Little Rescue Story About 3 weeks ago our next door neighbor allowed a 'friend' of hers to set up a kennel for her 4 months old Pitbull puppy in her backyard next to our backyard fence. The girl promised to take care of him and come to feed and water and exercise him regularly. She was also supposed to put up a tarp to keep the rain out and put down some planks on the floor. Well... it worked for the first 2 days then the visits got less and less. The tarp and the planks never appeared. Finally our neighbor had to take care of the puppy. She tried to convince her 'friend' that she needed to either care for her puppy or to find a new home for him. This girl became very nasty with her and accused her of being the worst friend ever. The puppy litterally eat his way through the wire and escaped a few times. He never went further than to our fence and had a grand old time playing with our 4 Yorkies running up and down the fence. My neighbor and I tried to make the kennel 'escape proof' but the poor little guy had 24/7 to think of new ways to get out. Who would blame him... I called the breeder of our puppy Mikki who had helped us to find a new home for Gypsy and she offered to take the puppy (PitBull!!!) and find him a new home too. Now the girl accused us to try to make money on her $500 puppy () Well... after some very nasty back and forth between her and our neighbor she finally agreed to give up the puppy and this afternoon he going to be released from his prison!!!! We are so happy for this little guy which is very friendly and not agressive at all. HAPPY END!!! |

| God bless you and your neighbor!!! Poor baby ... I am so happy that he will get a loving, caring forever home! I believe their early life is what molds their personalities. Hopefully, it won't take long to put this misery behind him! Congratulations for a job well done!!

Thnak heavens for people like you Sonja, you are definitely heaven sent. I hope the poor little baby gets a loving home. Once again, you stepped up to the plate and solved the problem. And I am not one bit surprised.
