| Heartwarming - Baghdad puppy cleared to leave Iraq I'm sure that I'm not the only one who's been following the story of Gwen Beberg, a U.S. Soldier in Iraq, who rescued a puppy from a fire - she wanted to bring the dog home but was banned by the defense department. Over 30,000 people signed a petition - and now the dog has been cleared to come "home." I just think it's heartwarming to know that people around the world think every life is worth saving and that we have a voice.U.S. military clears Baghdad puppy to leave Iraq | ajc.com |

| I saw that Ratchet didn't make this flight, however I think it sounds like the SPCA will return. That's the way I read the article anyway. |
