| Got kids? Candy notice!!! I don't know what it is about the Chinese imports and Melamine, but they seem to want to put it in EVERYTHING!!! Thousands and thousands of their babies have suffered for the Melamine in the baby formula. Now there is this: QFCO, Inc. of Burlingame, California is recalling White Rabbit Candy because it may be contaminated with Melamine. Product was distributed to the states of CA, GA, HI, IL, MN, NY, OR, TX, WA through wholesale distributors to retail stores. Tell your kids who are old enough to buy their own candy, too!! |

| My goodness what is going on with the constant problems with Chinese products?! It's ridiculous! Even if you make a conscious effort not to buy made in China products, it's almost impossible- everything seems to be made in China. So frustrating! Thanks for posting this.

| This is getting to be a common thing and I'm sure we've not heard the last of it. It's disgusting to say the least. Thanks for posting.

| It seems like almost all products sold in American stores are made in China - the search for cheap labor/products has caused the American people to "sell their souls" to foreign entitys who are not concerned with safety. Does anyone know the specific candies that are involved? Oh my, I hope it's not Milk Duds! |

Sammiz posted it was White Rabbit candy. I'm not sure what that is- maybe we don't get it in FL.

| You know....I don't have any idea what "White Rabbit Candy" is. I like the old standards...Hershey bar, Baby Ruth, Snickers...like that. I don't have any idea what is popular with children as I am not around children much these days. However, I have gained new information regarding this. Baby cereal is also found to be tainted. There is further news on the recall of Heinz baby cereal mde and marketed to Hong Kong along with some wasabi snacks: Heinz recalls baby food in Hong Kong: Financial News - Yahoo! Finance I am sure more will come to light. It seems to be far from over. |
