| I'm so excited!!! Cross your fingers for me:) We're going to test drive the car I want (Infiniti G35)and start the ball rolling on the financing The car I have now has served us well, we bought it used about 3 years ago or so. It now has no A/C, leaks oil, overheats, etc. etc. I've been driving it with no air for about a week and OMG what misery So I've not been going out much Please send good thoughts that our credit is now good enough for us to get this car. In 2005 my husband had to get a co-signer to get his new truck, our credit was not very good, but we've been working on that. It should be okay This will be my first ever brand new car, and I'm 40

I felt so bad for my girls, had to take them to the groomer in that car, ugh! Luckily, it's only a few miles, otherwise I would have cancelled.

| Thanks everyone. I didn't get my car today, as our credit was a little low. We have to make more of a down payment than we could afford right this minute, but I *should* be able to get it in the next few weeks. The banks are all very wary of car loans for lower credit scores, it seems. It's not hopeless, but we're also probably going to be paying a much higher interest rate because of the score being on the lower end Getting credit is harder and harder these days with the mortgage crisis and all. I did get to drive it though and OMG it's even better than I'd imagined! So fast and all the bells and whistles, etc. It's the nicest car I've ever seen and I'm in love I kept telling hubby that maybe I should choose a cheaper car, and he won't hear of it, he wants me to have this one He likes to spoil me, and since I waited SO long to actually have a NEW car, he wants it to be extra special for me, awwww! We had to pay support on his children up until about a year ago, so I've always had used cars, but have upgraded on each one He had to get a new truck in 05 for work, so I had to wait my turn. It'll be worth the wait, I think

| How exciting that its your turn! I have a 1993 Infiniti J30 that my mom and grandmother bought for me (used from a family friend) when I was 17. I love that car but it is about on its last leg. With 200,000+ miles on it, I think I may have to retire it soon. When I do I'll probably be looking for a new Infiniti. I just can't imagine driving anything else when that one has been so good to me. I can't wait to see pictures of your new car when you get it all worked out!

| Awww, thanks girlies Hey Rebel, when you trade in your old Infiniti, let me know how much they give you for it, if you don't mind. They're supposed to hold their value very well and I'd love a "real life" example of that I have a 97 Cadillac Deville right now and they only are giving me $2500 for it Blue book on it is $3,290 for trade-in, but I understand that they won't get diddly for it, as it's too old for them to retail. They will take it to auction. I can't WAIT to have that car, on pins and needles until then

| I know how it is with the credit issues and cars! We bought a Jeep Liberty new last year and put 10,000 down, but got an 18% interest rate. Well stupid me and DH decided to do it anyhow and it was the worst mistake ever honestly. I wish we just would have bought something for cash. I think it's very cool you are waiting to get it and I think it's absolutely great your credit is improving! I know how much of a struggle that has been for us! I hope you get your dream car very soon! |
