| Handywoman of the world - Unite! I'm so proud of me, I like to do home repairs... yesterday & today I worked on these steps! The steps were rotten in places, so I replaced them. Tearing the old boards off was the hard part. (they're not crooked, I just can't take a straight picture. ) People are always shocked when they learn it is me who does alot of this stuff around the house and not "the husband"! He hates doing stuff like this and would sooner hire someone! Where I'm the thrifty one who likes to save money and also feels pride when a job is completed. Why, I own a Craftsman drill I picked out myself and I love it. LOL! Thats my Abbie supervising the work in the "before" pic. |

| Good job! I always do my own home repairs and remodelling. If I want it done right.. it better be me doing it. Mike is not handy at all!

| I am the same. Bf claims that he is better at things than me but he never proves this fact. I just do it myself instead.

| Nice job! I own a variety of power tools, but my drill is my favorite. I do most things myself around the house. I will hire out wiring repairs, that just makes sense, but most of the rest I handle myself. My GF always bribes me with lunch to come over to her house and help her with her Ms. Fix It list. Last weekend we installed new lights in her kitchen, and I re-installed the smoke detector that she could not get to stay up. Men. Who needs them? Tool Belt Divas Unite!

| Yeah!! All us handy women need to form a business & hire ourselves out! We'd probably be in high demand, especially with other women. Ummm, Betty's Mom....I have a confession: I too am afraid to climb on roofs. I'd go in the Attic though! Maybe it can be fixed from the attic? |
