| Do you download music? I was just wondering what programs you use to download music from the internet? I am looking for something to put on my new laptop and I can't decide what program to go with. I looked into Napster because my laptop came with a free trial but it costs $12.95 a month and then $.99 for each song you want to download. Is there anything cheaper out there?

| Why not ITunes? You don't have to put the tunes on an MP3 player to listen to them. From ITunes you can burn them to a CD or whatever, sometimes it takes a bit of creativity. Lots of help out there if you need it. You pay by the song or the album.

| I use ITunes, probably because it's all I know.

| I download from limewire. I never pay for any money for my cd's. You just have to remember for any kind of heavy internet traffic, you must have a good security suit. I use verizon internet security. I open my limewre, search for my favorite albums and singers, and click on the songs I want. They go to my music folder, or any folder you want. From there to your playlist, and from your playlist to your cd's. Or in an easier way from your lime wire, save file to cdrom straight. It also gives you movies, video's and games, but I never download those. I am afraid of getting a virus. |

| I use iTunes if I just want a song or two. If I want an entire CD, it's normally cheaper to just buy it from a store and upload it to iTunes. Isn't Limeware.. illegal?

| I haven't bought an actual CD in years! I've tried limewire once awhile back when I was living in the dorms but the schools virus protection interfered with it too much. I may have to give it another try since so many suggest it. I was using Ares on my desktop but it's been running very slow lately so I deleted it.

| Limewire is VERY illegal. Whenever my boyfriend was looking for an attorney to help him get his money back on his truck, the attorney that was working his case told him about a girl he was working for who is getting sued for using Limewire. He said they're suing her for loads and loads of money, as soon as I heard that I deleted it off my computer and haven't used it since. By the way, it doesn't matter if you rarely use it. She had only downloaded like 300 songs.

| The website tells you that is completly free, unless you upgrade. That does not sound illegal to me. Specially if there is not profit. There are lots of beneffits with the upgrade though. |
