| yucky That happened to me last month. I had to make my husband remove it the smell was horrific. I washed the bin the potato was in, left it outside a few days. But the pantry smell was gone in a day. Thank god. |

| We looked at a house a few years ago and the woman was a total slob. She had peeled potatoes and left the peelings in the kitchen sink...a double sink...for at least 2 days...she must have peeled 25 pounds of potatoes. Talk about stench I couldn't stand to be in the house much less buy it! |

| That is soooo funny! Last week my garage kept smelling mildewy and spoiled. I thought maybe I left laundry in the washer. It even stunk my car up. I found a bag of taters I had laid on a shelf. I totally understand. So gross.

| I can not abide the smell of a truly rotten potato. It reminds me of a nightmarishm life-changing experience I had when I was in high school. One whiff and I am retreating into another world! You will never find a rotten one in my house. When I buy potatoes, I buy the smallest amount possible and either use them all up at once, or count them into zip top baggies and place them in the very front of the pantry on the center shelf so they can't be forgotten. |
