Are you partial to one of your babies more than the other(s)?

Sometimes I feel so awful. I have 2 boys. Dexter who is soooooo needy with his mommy. He worships me. He wants me to pick him up and hold him all the time. If someone else holds him he'll fight them until he can at least SEE me. Then stares at me like hes being tortured by this seperation. However if Im not there he'll cuddle with whoever is available.

Then I have my Fletcher, who is not cuddly at all except first thing in the morning after I wake up and before I get up, he curls right up into me for those 10 - 15 mins. Otherwise hes very active, very OCD and high-strung. He is afraid of a lot and does not care for kids too much, he's afraid of them. He annoys people kind of because he does not calm down. Yet.... hes my baby! I always feel like I neglect him because of how needy Dexter is, but in my heart ... well he is my heart.

Don't get me wrong, I love both my babies sooooo much and would never be able to choose between them, but something about my quirky baby holds a special place in my heart.

Sooo is anyone else partial to one of their babies over the other one?? Even just a TINY bit??? c'mon be honest.... ease my guilt a little bit!

Girl don't feel guilty. It's just like skin kids. You say you will never have favoriets but due to some small thing or quirk one always has an extra special place in your heart. Nothing wrong with it. As long as you do for them equally it's all good.

i have 4 kids 3 boys and 1 girl and i know where you are coming from i love my kids very much but I'm partial to my girl than my boys! i can not help how i feel and I'm not ashamed of it.... Dont feel guilt there nothing wrong with the way you feel.

I have 2 and yes I favor one over the other. I almost cant help it Jewels is in my lap or follows me everywhere all day she is very dependent. Chachi is more independent and My Husband favors him. I do give chachi lots of attention but Jewels ends up getting more.. Shes barking at the back door right now wanting outside with me...

We have 3 in our house and yes, I am very partial to Sugar. In my defense though, Sugar is the only one partial to me. Spike is my daughter's dog and though he loves everyone, he is devoted to her. Gracie was bought as my Valentine's present but she always preferred my husband. How can I not prefer my little Sugar man who totally worships me?

Yes I have 3 yorkies and Roxie is my little snuggler and my heart, Pixie has a fun personality and the little mother to all and my husband adores her calls her perfect Pixie, and Cali is my loner laid back girl and she is my 23 year old dtr's favorite so it all works out. I of course love them all.

I would say the Lil Bit steals my heart because he has a heart murmur and may not be with us for long. And also because he lies in my arm like a baby. but I always make room for as many as can fit on my lap, and never push any of them away.

I Have 5 Yorkies And Try My Best To Give All Some Attention Every Day, They Love To Sit In My Lap, And Seem To Know That They Have To Take Turns. 2 Of Them Sleep With Us And 3 Are Kenneled At Night Only, The Rest Of The Time They All Hang Out Together Have A Doggie Door And Live A Very Good Life...full Run Of The House Which We Pulled All The Carpet And Tiled. I'm definitely partial to Britney. She's the first and she is so needy. It is rare that she isn't in my lap. Brooklyn and Coral are both very cuddly but they do there own thing a lot too.

YAY! Im soo glad Im not alone! I wonder why I do not favor the one who favors me. I think I favor Fletcher because his eyes are sooo expressive. He looks at me with ALL the love in the world shining in his eyes. Dexter seems to just want a lap to lay on. He won't even look me in the eyes most of the time! Plus with Fletcher you talk to him and his ears perk up and his head tilts, like he actually understands, Dex's ears are floppy so they don't stand up and he rarely tilts his head.

I have 6 dogs but Fritzel is my favorite. Just don't tell the other dogs!!

I have 5, and Cleo is the oldest. She has claimed me as hers, so I do have a special place for her in my heart. I love all of them dearly, but she has claimed me as hers and so it is how it is. Lola and Lily have claimed Jason (dh), Joe has claimed my mom for some reason, lol, and Diesel has claimed me as well. It's like they pick who clicks better with them. They are all technically mine since I paid for them and I am the one that takes care of them and feeds them, but its like they have their own favorites.
They are all wonderful with the kids and love them too, but they seem to attach themselves to the grown up kids in the house, lol.

Starsky is my first and he demands more attention. He likes to cuddle and is more friendly when human friends come visit. Starsky listens to what I ask as he tips his head a lot when I talk to him. He has to know where I am at all times and follows me around the house. At yorkie play dates Starsky seems to be a loner.

Shylah came along and I think she realized Starsky needs attention so she doesn't demand as much attention. If she wants it she will come to me, kiss my feet or give me a small bark or howl for attention. Morning's seem to be her play time. She will cuddle in bed with me at night. She is very shy when human friends come so she hides. She doesn't like kids much. When she goes to yorkie play dates, she is totally in her element with all her fur friends!! She is such a social fly.

I love both my babies the same. They both have special different characteristics that I love about them. They may be night and day in personalities, but they are truly loved.
