| I don't know, before I read it I was like "what the crap", now that I've read it I kind of understand where she may be coming from. I personally couldn't do it but I could understand someone else wanting/needing to do it, especially after reading why she is wanting to do it... she's just wanting to better the life for her dog. She could just drop him off somewhere or something instead of wanting to make sure he lands in the right hands. Not sure what I'm trying to say .

| confused At first I thought no way someone would want to do this But now I am confused because I think she does have courage and smarts to not want to give the world one more homeless dog I just know I could never give up a pet they are too much part of my family |

| Only someone who is as unfeeling and uncaring as she is would consider such a cold hearted exchange. I hope for the dogs sake it IS rehomed!!

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | Someone who would just trade a dog doesn't really seem like the best potential owner to me. I would want a new owner for my dog that I KNEW would love it no matter what, not one that would want to get rid of him and try again when his personality gets "old." I don't know. I'm REALLY on the fence with this one. It sounds like a good idea in theory. It's just...I mean...just cause you're giving up your dog doesn't mean it has to be a homeless dog, it just means you have to work a little bit to find a good home.

| ok, at first I thought this was CRAZY also... but after reading the whole thing. I actually think its not a bad idea. HER situation changed in life. She got sick. Its no longer to the benefit of her Jack Russell for her to keep him. However she DOES have the ability to take another calmer dog into her home. I don't think she's selfish or heartless and I definately do not think she is sick of her old dog. She wants her beloved dog to have a home more suited for him so HE is happy. She is willing to take in ANY dog, she is not picky about another dog, big, small, young, old, breed, color, she even does not have a problem taking in a sick dog (as long as the dog does not need $1,000s a year in medical attention. I think she sounds compassionate and loves her baby and wants the best for him and does not want to just 'throw him away'. You guys all know situations change and sometimes the toughest but best thing is to rehome your dog, but if you could help another family rehome for their dogs benefit also... well whats soooo bad about that?
