| Nutrisystem food So the other day nutrisystem was having a HUGE sale on overstocked food. So I got a week jumpstart kit for like $30. That is 7 breakfast, 7 lunch, 7 dinner and 7 snacks. I get it all in the other day and Im a little freaked out. hahaha 2 hotdogs with buns came in a package the exact size and shape as a DVD movie. Plus nothing needs refridgeration! I just had a mac & cheese for lunch... it was not too bad, but the BF took the hotdogs, so Im waiting to hear from him how they were. hehe Reminds me of a futuristic type cartoon, where they add a drop of water to a little pill and **BOOM** big, hot turkey dinner with all the trimmings! Anyone ever try this food? What can I expect from this? Is it good despite its strange packaging?

| Oh yeah, go to their website, the deal is still going on. You can get all different types of food packages for super cheap. I got packages of pancake batter that I want to try the pancakes. But oatmeal blech, I told BF to eat that. I don't like regular oatmeal, nevermind super diet food oatmeal! haha It is all VERY interesting! LOL But the hotdogs, that was the MOST interesting IMO. Imagine opening a DVD movie and pulling out 2 hotdogs! HAHA

| Ohhhh I am sooooo interested to hear what you think! I always watch those commercials and wonder how that stuff tastes!! I also always figured people could lose weight because the portions were so small. DVD hotdogs?? Love it!!!!!!!

| I purchased the food last summer I was going to a weeding an needed to loose a few pounds quick (the weeding was at the beach) LOL! I didnt have lots of fun with the foods (specially the breakfasts) But everything else was A+...once you get used to it you'll so just fine. I like the snacks and the fact that just use this to maintain the weight. Wish you the best of success but please note that you need to do your daily exercises and lost of water.

| I tried nutrisystem about a year ago...I cancelled my plan before I got my second shipment. Some of the food was good but for the most part, I couldn't stand the taste of it. And BTW, I seriously doubt those hotdogs are going to expand much when you open the package. I think part of the weight loss comes from the very small portions.

| Ok this had me laughing sooo hard on friday. So BF took the hotdogs to work in the DVD size box. I had looked at the box, saw 2 hotdogs in buns and assumed there was 2 hotdogs in buns in the box and smushed down or something right?? Soooo I send him an email to send me a picture of it, I was dying to see how they got 2 hot dogs in the box. He said they looked like hotdogs... then he said he didnt know what to tell me, they were regular hotdogs, maybe a bit shorter. And I was sending back emails saying that I didnt get how they fit in the box. This went ON & ON & ON. I didnt get him and he didnt get me. He had NO idea I thought there were buns in the box too! So we get my friend involved in our crazy hot dog day.... FINALLY I realized that he didnt know I thought there were buns.... i was laughing sooooo hard! So there are 3 turkey hotdogs with NO buns in the box!!! After I got over how funny the whole conversation between him & I went on friday, I was a bit ticked off. They charge you something like $90 normal price for a week of food. You would think that EVERYTHING you needed was included in that. But NO! They recommend eating the hotdogs with white rice or on a specific type of bun that you need to supply yourself. Oh and Im not really on a diet at all... we saw the food for CHEAP and thought we'd try it. My friend who got involved in the hotdog friday had a dream about hotdogs on friday night and called me saturday morning laughing even harder! HAHAHA

| The food doesn't even look appealing on TV!! You know you're in trouble when the experts can't even make it look appetizing! That fake-looking lasagna and the chocolate cupcake-thing...ugh...Please!!!

I had the nacho crisps today.... they were pretty gross! I ate the bag bc it was all I had, but VERY drying in my throat, had to drink water with them. Wouldn't buy the food again.
