| Any college students gotten their fall tution bill? I got my bill tonight and I'm in shock! Every semester, I get less and less financial aid. Way to go, government! I also love how colleges give you the bill and expect payment within a few days. Can you believe that?

| Yep, I just got mine too. My mom was really slow about turning in my FAFSA this year so I'm still waiting (and hoping) to see what I'm getting for financial aid.

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Why, isn't it for financial aid? My kids have the pre paid college, but that does not cover 100%, so I need feed back from all of you PLEASE!

| It is for financial aid but it's kinda long and tedious. It's worth it in the end though.

| You got a bill for THIS falls classes? How did you get a bill already? I got TONS of financial aid for the 2008-2009 school year, $12,500. Im a part time night student, so there is no way I need that much, maybe 1/2 of that. What is sad though is last year I got financial aid for the 2007-2008 school year and it was $10,500, did the cost of classes go up $1,000 a semester?? That is what gets me crazy! Why sooo much money to get a degree?? Im going to owe $18,000 when Im done and I've already paid about $7,000. This is just for a state college! OH and FAFSA... forget it! I quit hoping for that. I am a single woman with a mortgage. They deny me saying that I can pay $14,000 a year myself. CRAZY!!!!! Maybe if I lived at home with my parents I could.... but not with a mortgage! They really need to take that into consideration!!!

| I am going to graduate school part-time. One of my classes is almost $1500... which is CRAZY! I am hoping to get an assistantship though next year! I was lucky enough that I had scholarships to pay 100% of my undergraduate degree though. I wouldn't have been able to do it without them!

Just in case anyone's looking for any additional sources of aid, I've gotten money from a Tuition Answer Loan the last couple of years. You can apply online, you're approved right away and they mail a check directly to you.

| I think it is very rude how they give you the bill and expect you to have to pay it in a few days. We used to pay half of my sons tuition and his grandparents paid the other half. They live over 2 hrs away and would have to wire transfer the money to get it to them in time
