No it is different, I have 6 months until I hit 25 and I can tell you it is different. My metabolism has slowed, all my friends are begining to abandon me for marriage, I am about to graduate from law school and have a "career" whatever that means, I am already envisioning 10 years from now when I am the last manless fool living with 10 yorkies and drinking a fifth of vodka a night, hell this may not even be 10 years off! It is different, it is depressing, and I sure hope Nobella is handling it better than I know I will.

you know what guys i just realized something after reading these posts again. if we think that being in our 20's is old it's no wonder why some 12-18 yr olds are thinking their old enough. very scary to me seeing as i have 2 girls

It's all a question of your attitude girl
I will turn 40 next year and I just think it's getting better year for year - I still look good and have my charms, but now I know it AND I have a good 40 years of wisdom and experience on my back - yep, I like myself and I know how to get what I want in life the good way...
So you decide if it's lame or kewl

Thats what I like to hear!!! Age is a state of mind! I will be 28 this year, and I love it!!! When I have a new client and they ask me how long I have been doing hair and I tell them, 10 years, their jaws drop! They can't believe it!! They usually think I am 21 or 22!!! And my hubby- the same thing! We were at the store and bought some beer- and he got carded!!! He is 35!!! But looks 23 0r 24!!! I don't look down on aging!!! I loved 25! And I loved 26, and 27!!! And I am sure I will love 28!! Even looking forwsrd to 30!!! and 40!!!! Hehehe!
Age is like a fine wine!!! It only gets better with time!!!! Especially SEX!!!! Sorry to get persona!!! But thats waht everyone says!!! So, my hubby and I have a woderful life together in everyway!!! And It will only get better!!! And most women hit their best peak years when they hit 40!!! At least thats what I hear!!! Maybe for those of you who are 40 and up can share your expertise in that area!! Hehe!!

Embrase life!! No matter what age you are!! If your 10, or 13, or 21, or 25, 30 and so on!!! Live each day to its fullest potential!! You only live once!!!!

I am 29, turning 30 in October. Turning 25 was not a problem for me, but turning 29 was a big one. I can tell you already 30 is going to be a bigger problem that 29 was. Something just hit me that my life didn't turn out as I dreamed it would. Be happily married, have 3 kids, live in a cute house with a nice front porch, blah, blah, blah. I can tell you one thing. Live your life to the fullest, it's too short. Go places while you can, you never know what can happen.

Happy Birthday Nobella! 25 isn't so bad . I'm 29 now, so I've already been there and done that. I do want to say that I totally understand your feelings and went through the same things myself when I turned 25. In fact, several people feel that way when they hit 25. It is sort of a "mid-life crisis" type thing that happens to many 25 year olds. There are all kinds of books about it and lots of information on the internet about it, so just to let you know, you are not alone in having the "I'm not where I thought I'd be thoughts." If you ever need to talk, PM me anytime, and by the way, it does get much better with time.

Happy Birthday!!!!!

Let me tell you how I feel about 25: FRIGHTENED! I will be 25 in January and I have been giving it a lot of thought. 25 is not old, it's just 'grown up.' And you know what the problem is, I don't FEEL grown up! I have friends that age that have CHILDREN and I am no where near ready to have children... And people keep asking me when it's going to happen and why I want to wait another 5 years... it's pretty awful...

But, I hope 25 brings you (and me) lots of happiness and it's one of the best years of your (and my) life!
