I am so sorry for your loss. I have fluttery feelings of excitement in my chest that you are more than likely pg. I would also hate to sit thru Am. Gov....been there and hated it. My prayers are with you sweetie. Take some deep breaths and try to calm down!!!!

Sounds like congratulations may be in order. I have a friend that tried for years to get pregnant and finally adopted a little girl, 2 months later she was pregnant. So it does happen when you least expect it.

that is what some think...but in my case....i had neg preg test(blood) till i was 8 weeks with both girls.....and neg. home preg test at 6 1/2 months preg when we knew for sure...cause of blood tests, ultrasounds and such...so not all can tell that way....i had low progestrone.....had to take it for almost 4 months to stay preg....misscarried the first preg...then 2 happy endings that are now 17 1/2 and 19 1/2 ...good luck sweetie

I agree with several of the others...hit the store and buy a test! We may have a reason to celebrate, and we all love doing that!

Thanks ya'll. I am in class I just had to sign on very quick b/c I was getting antsy again. I have another class that is fixing to start so that will occupy me until 10 tonight. I don't have patience...I am just VERY scared if it's negative I will go through the week wondering what else this could be. I think hormone levels drop late in pregnacy some ( I am not sure ) so a home test may not pick up a real pregnancy. I will sign on at home, class has started.

I most certainly wish the most wonderful outcome from your appointment on Friday. I also wish that you wouldn't be under sooooo much stress. If you are preggie that means that you have not been under any prenatal care. Do some deep breathing, sweetie, and try to calm you stress level.

My Mom and Dad tried for 6 yrs, decided to stop trying and adopt, BAM, got pg with me. Then they tried for 8 yrs, stopped trying and decided to adopt, BAM, got pg with my brother. I know others who just tried too hard, too. Hugs and best wishes for a "+" on Fri.

Thanks ya'll. Class ended early tonight.....figures when I need to focus on something they let us out. I know I am making it worse for me, my neck is so tense from being so upset. I try to not think about it and that works for a little while, but when I start having to breath deeper to catch a breath it just reminds me of it all over again. I don't want to get excited b/c I have wanted another child soooo long and soooo bad. My sisters daughter is JUST like our own, she says she has two mommies and two daddies and she has her 5th birthday Thursady, party is a skating party on Saturday so I try to think about her and I don't let her know I am upset. When my sister passed she was pregnant with Maya's brother......Maya was not allowed to go in ICU to see my sister, she got to see her once when she got a private room for a week before being sent back to ICU. the baby died a few weeks before my sister......to Maya her mommie went to the hospital and her nor the baby ever came home. If I am defiantly preg. I will get proffesional help on how to tell Maya. My idea was to just come home with the baby so she didn't worry, Shane says we just can't do that. I have a lot to juggle either way. I know she will be scared if I am in the hospital for anything wrong too. Sigh.....I could really use something wonderful to happen right now. I still have baby stuff I bought when I thought I was preg. last year.... swing, diaper bag, two comforter/bedding sets......no bed or anything like that, but I am sure everything would be ok if I was.....I just dont want to be sick or something bad wrong. I need to settle down again and just pray for myself too. It really helps to have all of you, I can't express that enough....trust me.

oh my gosh.. first of all I hope your prego.. sounds like it to me.. and I also want to say I think it is so wonderful that you have your sisters daughter..I am soo sorry you lost her.. I too lost a sister, but she was not as young as that..her baby was in university..
I also want to say.. you need to find out for sure if you are..take the test asap so it is off your mind.. then you need to take time to be able to tell this child and help her understand..
I can feel you being overwhelmed and you have every right to be.. gee I wish I were closer to give you some huge hugs and let you know it will all work out for the best.. but I cannot do that so I am just going to have to put it in the post..
But you need to take care of you.. so you can take care of that lilttle girl you now have and possibly another on the way..anne

I am so sorry for the loss of your sister. It sure does sound so very stressful the last year. Hoping that you are pregnant....please keep us updated from your Dr. appt. If you are pregnant, Maya will have a cousin to love, and would be a happy thing for all of you
