| Great neice born 12 weeks premature Hello family. Here I am again asking for prayer. My Great neice (husband's sister's daughter) gave birth to her baby girl 12 weeks early. Meleea Kate Houser was born on July 5th at Kennistone Hospital in Cobb County Georgia. Meleea weighed 2 lb. 3 ounces at birth. Right now she is holding her own, in fact she has made a few minor improvements - prayers answered, but there is talk of blood transfusions - Please please keep little Meleea in your prayers! |

| What a pretty name. Prayer's coming for that little one. I am sure, with today's technology things will be just fine. It's amazing how these little one's thrive. I know of two babies who were even smaller and today they are just perfect and have caught up with their peers. Both are under three. Congratulations. Hugs, |

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | Sending tons of prayers. She will make it. My sister was born when my mom was 6 months pregnant and weighed in at a pound and a half. She was the size of a budwiser can. She survived and is a completely normal 21 year old now. So go figure the technology is much better now. God is on her side and the family love will hold her until she is ready to be home with you all. Just a side note for you. My sister had great doctors here in NY in the NICU. They told my mom in their experience little premie girls are the largest number of survivors. They noticed a lot more fight in them than the boys. Good luck and god bless the sweetie.

| Will definitely keep little Meleea in our prayers. Never lose faith - there are many ups and downs with preemies (two steps forward, one step back is very normal).

YT 2000 Club Member | She will be in my prayers. I know all to well how it goes with a preemie that early, 2 of my 4 boy's were born very early, one was born at 26 weeks and the other was born at 28 weeks. they were in the NICU at Rainbow Babies and Childrens hospital for a few months and They had a rough way to go in the beginning. One had to be on a ventilator while the other just had C pap, Very scarry ordeal when it's your baby that things happened to, but they are healthy happy 12 and 11 year old boy's now! It is amazing what they are doing today to keep these tiny one's healthy and the very early ones( born at 6 months gestation) have a chance to make it now with out to many problems later in life.

| Meleea and her family are in our prayers.I wish her health for now and in the future. My fellas auntie had a baby at 24weeks he was 1lb 11ozs at birth and lost a couple of ounces in the first few weeks, he was super tiny and seemed so vulnerable. He is now 10 years old and as healthy as can be He has never had any health issues due to his prem birth. We are lucky to live in a time with such fantastic doctors and new technology!

| Prayers going out to Meleea Kate - I love her name. My 19 y.o. was a preemie and I'll never forget the one thing our Dr. told us that gave us encouragement. He said many adults would never survive what babies do because adults give up. Babies only know one thing - the will to live. And they do beat the odds. My brother has a neice who was 3+ months pream. over 20 yrs ago. Her skin wasn't even completely formed. She is in perfect health today. With today's technology - miracles happen constantly. Hopefully, Meleea will be able to come home to her family soon.
