Ok, so I am the dissenting opinion here...lol

I loved Jesse from the beginning. He was not afraid to be himself. Many of those guys looked the right way and said all the right things. But I have been down that road before and it does not always mean happily ever after. He is her same age, so I would think they are both kid like if anything. Also just because he is a pro snowboarder does not make him a bum! In reality while doing that his endorsements could land much more than a lawyer can make in a year. Yes the career is shorter, but why not do what you love and get paid big bucks while you can. Heck one of my brothers was just dinking around a few years and made a lot of money. He now has a great regular 9-5 job that he likes but makes way less. ( He blew his knee) And he was not a pro, just a local.

I think jumping into a relationship with a man and a child is a bit scarey, because it is not only them you have to worry about, then there is the ex factor and other things most do not see from the outside. And yes I can say this because I had a child pre marriage and he had 2 from a previous marriage. It sucked, because no matter how hard I tried to be with that woman, nothing I did was ever ok. Now fortunately for us, after 6 years of harassment because she was jealous she has moved on, but the first several years were tough.

Also not everyone has ideal grammar. I am one that knows this personally,( I struggle with this everyday) and if you are going to judge someone because they say your the best, instead of you're the best, that is pretty petty and you could miss out on some great people. At least he was willing to be himself, be honest and in the end I think the both will be very happy.

After 12 years I still feel like a giddy school girl with my husband, and I would not have it any other way. We are best friends and polar opposites, and 12 years later still feel like newly weds. SO I wish them well

You make a lot of very valid points Marlee! I too was a fan of Jason...but I had a feeling that her selecting someone that would create a ready made family for her would be a bit much.
The show really does not provide US as viewers with a very HONEST picture of these guys...with all the editing they do...they make some guys look perfect and some not so perfect for the full effect of getting the audience tuned in....
After watching the "After the Final Rose" show I really changed my opinion of the whole thing.
In the end it is Deanna life, and the show was for HER to fall in love and if that is what happened...we should just be happy for her...no matter who she picked.

-- because in real life if some girl was leading 2 guys on and letting them believe she loved them, we would think she was the problem - or even worse words about her

The show really needs to break its pattern - it was a dead giveaway when they made it look like everyone else loved Jason - you knew she would then pick Jesse - because this is what this series is famous for

But on another note --- did Shayne and her Bachelor look sweet together!! Could Matt be the 1st bachelor to hang onto a girl? ( I think Byron and Mary broke up after she was drunk and hit him this winter - or are they still together? I really liked them)

I'm with Marlee~ I loved Jesse and I just didn't think Jason was the guy for her. I think they'll make a really nice life together b/c they both are adventurous and energetic. I think Deanna has a lot more to her than they showed on camera and of course, Jesse must have more; they always edit everything the way that they want us to be thinking at the end of each episode!

I think it's great that she chose Jesse and I hope they really do make it work. I'd be sad if they split up. I just love happy endings; I was crying

I have to add that she lied to jason.. she told him she woke that morning just knowing jesse was the one.. then later she said to jesse how long she waited to say those words.. I love you..

So she lied about this and that really ticks me off..jason was a pretty handsome dude when he relaxed and did not shave and look like the executive..Not many have lasted in all the times this show has been on.. so I will await this out to.. hope it works for her as she truly looked happy.. but she lied to jason..I did not like that and picked up on it right away..

Perhaps she just meant she had waited so long to tell someone I love you, not Jesse specifically?? Had she picked Jason, she might have said the same thing. Just a thought.

I wanted her to pick Jason altho I could see how much Jesse felt for her too. I hope it works out for them even tho Jason was my choice all along. I never did like Jeremy.

I agree, I think he was WAY too good for her. I didn't like the fact she had to be the center of attention all the time and after seeing that she would never play second fiddle to his son. I loved the way he told her that his son came first in his life. Don't know if it's just me but I didn't think he looked all that sad about the whole ending. What a big smile when the audience clapped for him. He has a very bright future. JMO

No beating from me! I liked Jesse too. Jason seemed like a nice guy, but a little over the top.

I like Jesse too, I think he was real and really fell for her. My problem is I don't care for her that much. I keep thinking since she was so obsessed with someone that wouldn't let her down at the end that she picked Jesse. Hope I'm wrong but if I were a betting person, I'd bet she's still after Graham. ( of course the wedding date is set but that doesn't mean anything since it's a year off)

There was a post about this on the wedding board I am on too...I thought it was a little annoying to watch Jesse & DeAnna all over each other [literally] and saying I love you every 5 minutes. That is going to get old. I preferred Jason for the obvious reasons and I agree with the other person who said that DeAnna seemed like she wanted attention 24x7 from all the guys.

I thought it was so petty/ridiculous when she got all upset at the BBQ and the guys weren't throwing themselves at her. I hope she is happy with Jesse but I just don't see that giddiness and I love yous lasting day in/day out in the real world.

The reason why a lot of the bachelors/bachelorettes breakup in the end is because when they are on the show, it's living in a fantasy world---your going on dates on islands, doing sunset cruises, flying somewhere on helicopters, going to a theater/museum after hours...it's not like that everyday in real life and I think it's a huge shock for most of the couples to get used to. Just my .02
