I did wash a box of dryer sheets - still trying to figure out how that happened but geesh WHAT A MESS!!! There are tiny pieces of cardboard everywhere and not to mention dryer sheets! | Paper towels and napkins make a pretty good mess, too. Of course, you must wash them with dark clothes, preferably something like towels.

| I couldnt even tell you what kind of dryer sheets they are;the box is completely torn up in a million tiny pieces lol I washed it with the boys bed clothes - so blankets, sheets, and two towels Kleenex also makes a HUGE mess!

| Oh Twalla, I am so very sorry. Reading this thread brings back so many memories of all those things that one should NOT put in the washing machine. It is rumored at my house that while hubby and I were gone on a mini vacation (kids were all "responsible" older teens) that someone stood in the washing machine on the spin cycle. This rumor can't be confirmed, but the when this is mentioned the kids just simle. Maybe you can start a new thread - things that I should NOT have washed/dryed. |

| UGH! I know how you feel...it must have made a huge mess! I used to put a dryer sheet at the bottom of the laundry hamper to keep it smelling fresh, until I forgot I did that and put the laundry along with only ONE dryer sheet in the wash....and then in the dryer. It made a big yucky mess all over everything; I thought something was wrong with my washing machine and it got gunk on all the clothes til I remembered about the dryer sheet that was no longer at the bottom of the hamper! Hope it all came out!
