| Wedding favor suggestions? Alright, I need some input please! My best friend is getting married in October and she is dragging her feet BIG TIME getting things planned! I'm her MOH and I feel like I am verging on being too pushy but dang it she's not getting anything done! lol okay, now that I've VENTED! I need some suggestions for favors at the reception. The wedding is a western theme...like cowboy boots, haybales, horseshoes, wheat... Guests will just be seated at long rectangle tables (no assigned seats). I'm thinking something that can be scattered along the tables would work the best. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you in advance for any ideas you have. I really am stumped at the moment.

| To be honest with you, most people do not pay any attention to the favors or take them home with them so in my experience the best favors are little chocolates or the like. We did want to do actual little take-home favors, so I purchased wine bottle stoppers, wrapped them individually, and labeled them for each guest/family. I had someone manning the favor table, and everyone stopped by to get their "gift" after they went through the serving line. We didn't find a single one left behind! |

| I like the idea of cute notes attached to disposable cameras scattered around. People always have fun with those.

| I'd thought about cameras. Do the guests use them to take pictures and then leave them for the bride and groom to develop? Or are they intended for the guests to take with them? Sorry, I'm new to this wedding thing!

| You'll have some of both. Some will take them, some will leave them. Some will take them, have them developed and send or post copies for the bride and groom. I've seen cute notes that make suggestions to take photos and leave the camera in a special place...like a box or something for that purpose.

| I know I saw a really cool favor idea on Etsy not long ago, but I can't remember what it was! If I think of it, I'll post here or pm you.

| I'm constantly blown away by the stuff I find there. And those are just from the first three pages when I did a search for western and favors. I'm sure there are even more ideas.
