| Need Laptop advice. I'm looking at replacing my laptop til what ever is wrong with it can be fixed. Windows Vista, 1 gig mem pulling 1.4 gigs off my hard drive. Did a complete system wipe and reloading Vista and it acted even worse. Slowed down to a samll crawl. So we loaded ubuantu a linux type system now it won't recongise my wireless interenet card or my wired one. Sigh. I can't afford a really pricey system and I use a flash drive 16 gig for all my school work. so I was looking at this system. any pros or cons is greatly appreciated. I can afford $350. but not alot more right now. I'm looking at this system,I use a flash drive so memory for storage is there, and Open Office which is a linux type like Windows 2007. Eee PC 2GB<br>(ULV 353 900MHz / 7"LED TFT / 512MB / 2GB SSD / 10/100 WiFi / LX): Portable One I need a portable type laptop badly, I'm not home enough to use my desktop except for extreme cases, like weekends and the lucky hour or two break here and there. Any advise on this? tyty

| The screen is quite small if you are not used to it, also the keyboard is REALLY small as well. It does the basics like Internet browsing and Word processing and does have WiFi. I'd suggest you try to see it in person to see if you could cope with the small screen and keyboard, as I've found it's pretty hard to type on it for extended periods of time. Good luck! |
