| Somewhere over the Rainbow-Tim Russert Yesterday a memorial service for Tim Russert of NBC's Meet the Press was held in Washington at the Kennedy Arts Center. It was a beautiful service and the last song played was a beautiful ukelale rendition of Somwhere Over The Rainbow. Amazingly as mourners left the service, a double rainbow over Washington awaited them. It was truly a beautiful sight.

| I saw it and it gave me goose bumps. I wonder if Tim liked dogs and so many thoughts went through my mind at the time. I saw the picture on NBC news last night and they showed it right above the NBC news building in D.C. I did not see the funeral just bits and pieces and from the other thread you know what a dear man I thought he was. I have what may be the version of the last song you may be speaking about......this was played and sung by Joe Brown at the end of the Concer for George Harrison November 19th, 2002 @ the Royal Albert Hall, London.

| Oh Joan I had never heard that one you posted, but I love it! Thanks for posting. This is the one that they played yesterday: <param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/2A2Jt4WOxN8... I just cannot believe that the song was playing and they walked out and saw that double rainbow!! What a miraculous event!!! Like I said earlier, it reminds me of our Rainbow/Ridge/Bridge....and especially now with your sweet Crystal. You can go to the MSNBC page go to Meet the Press, and they have video of the service by each of the speakers. Each speaker was fantastic, and knew him in a different way. What a fantastic person he was.

| I too cannot imagine walking out of that church and seeing the rainbow after listening to that beautiful song. I posted the wrong one and that was meant to end Crystals thread. Those were all rose pedals coming down from the ceiling. I will have to watch it on MSNBC some day. Thanks Do you think he is up there working the rainbows since he was so loved.

| Yes Janie, God must have opened his arms widely and welcomed him. So few of his kind any more. God Bless His Heart.

| Lisa, That's the song that's on Abby's MySpace page I love it. Tim Russert will certainly be missed. The Rainbow...what an amazing happening.
