| What an idiot!!! Surely it would have been kinder to put them asleep as a last resort, rather than let them starve to death or be savaged by each other or bigger wilder animals! And he said staff were being repeatedly bittenwere the dogs that were biting released too?

| That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard! That is going to solve their problem?? They put sick, and I am sure, unaltered animals loose in a forest. They will probably suffer and die. Why not just give them a peaceful ending! Now what's going to happen when these dogs come out of the forest and spread disease and probably fight with other people's dogs????? I hope he is kicked out of office! I hope someone goes in there and saves these dogs.

| How insane is that? Better to put them down, then slowly die of starvation...dogs are not cats... |

| I'm sorry to say it like this, but what the H_LL is wrong with that man. To just put dogs out in a forest to fend for themselves. That IS animal cruelty. I shudder to think of what those dogs are going thru on their own.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | That is just horrible. Something should be done. Not only are those poor animals at great risk if they released biting pit bulls kids and pets and adults are in danger too.

That mayor is a complete idiot. It would have been much better to have the dogs euthanized rather than to leave them in the forest to die of starvation or disease. The article didn't mention if they had been fixed (that i saw), if they haven't that means more puppies. Maybe this is a publicity stunt?

| Wow! I have no idea what to say to that! release 10 dogs that are known to have bitten or hurt animal control officers? I guess Id rather see them euthenized than being released without having the ability to care for themselves. How sad

| I am beyond words. I wonder about his "problem" solving techniques. I am glad I don't have to rely on his decisions. |
