| i got out of school early in my school ... the temperature was going to reach 101 degrees F !!! in first period, the coldest room in the school, mind you, the temperature was increasing to 98 degrees !! i couldnt stand it ! because of this constant heat, the school system declared half days un til the end of the year. today was going to be the HOTTEST day !! in math ... it was COMPLETELY BURNINGGGG !!! everyone was sweating ! so i told mommy it was too hot (she understood .. she was in the elementary school) so she told my brother to pick me up. dont get me wrong ... i dont constantly try to get out of school, unless its a really good reason . i was just dizzy and couldnt think straight ! omg ! thank god im in the AC now :]

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | gah I'm jelous! Most of the schools around here closed yesterday because of the heat. Except for MINE. Because we "have" air conditioning. Yes, except that its broken in half of my classrooms and the freshmen classrooms don't have windows so they suck in the heat and hold onto it. My math teacher passed out DURING class today. How could they NOT send us home?

| Is it normal for schools not to have ac where you are? We see 100+ all the time in the summer, school never gets shut down for us |

| OH wow! Its hot here too.... 96 today! We are in our 4th day of 90s! I love the heat, but its a bit crazy right now! I dont know if Im glad Im at work or not. I have AC at home (which is on for my boys! (yorkies)) but I have AC at work too. Id rather be home with NO AC than at work with AC! LOL Have a great 1/2 a day!!!

| Its up to 92 now, but feels more like 100. I took Laney for a mile walk and she about had a heat stroke. Our schools here get out mid-May and start back august 1st.

| Because we both need exercise. 92 is nothing compared to what we see later on during the summer. She's a big dog, she can handle it.
