| Not sure what it could be. We've been w/o air for several months now. Some 'block' on ours is broken and the new 'block' (whatever that is) still hasn't come in yet.. so I feel your pain!

It could be Frozen, try turning off the unit for a few hours then turn it back on but do not set it below 72, that or you could need freon. | |

| not freeze as in cold, but freeze up, like it ran too long. You might just need to clean it out, sometimes the blade thingys (yes, I am an expert ) get dirty and blocked. Ours seemed to be slowing up as it ran the other day, so we took the water hose sprayer and spayed it out really good, helped tons. Good luck, hope it's not broken, it is very hot right now!!

| If the unit is just 2 years old, it may still be under warranty.

| Well I hope its not a Lennox air conditioner!!!!! I bought 2, one 6 years ago and one 3 years ago. They both broke down last year in May. The part that broke on both of them was, of course, not under warantee. Found out it is a design flaw and Lennox knows about it and will not fix it or replace it. And it costs about 2500 to fix one. Sooooooooo, I spent all last summer with no air and it was one of the hottest summers on record here in Phoenix. And I didnt have enough $$ to buy new ones at that time. Hope yours is just something simple to fix and not expensive!! NEVER BUY A LENNOX!!!!!!! |
