My Mom 81 Passed Away

Donn, I am so very sorry for the loss of your mother.
It makes the heart feel alittle better knowing that when the time
comes your loved one can go in peace and you know that they are comfortable and not in pain. I heard wonderful things regarding Hospice.

I am so very sorry for the loss of your mother. The mother-daughter bond is a one of a kind relationship that nobody else can understand. I am glad that you are finding some peace in this situation. I also lost my mother a few years ago. She was able to come home (in a coma) for a few days with hospice care and her family around her. I ,also, cannot say enough wonderful things about the hospice people and organizations. They were a true Godsend to my family, even though it was only for a few days. Each year on the passing of my mom, I send them a donation in her memory. I hope it helps them to continue giving to others. My prayers are with you and your family. {{{{{BIG HUG}}}}}

Donna, I am so very sorry for the loss of you Mother. It is wonderful that she was in such a caring, tranquil place. When my husband's Mother passed away, she was also in Hospice. There are not enough words to express the gratitude for the wonderful people who help the sick & their families at such a tragic time. Sending prayers to you & your family.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom. My Mom had a stroke last year and passed away a week later. We had just placed her in Hospice an hour before she passed but I know how wonderful they can be.

my husband died just 2 days after I contacted hospice for a terminal illness ...we never got to experience what you're talking about... (I've not felt the peace you're experiencing)....I wish I could......

I'm so sorry for your loss. I don't think it matter's how old our parents are when they pass, their still our parents. It sounds like you mom had a very peaceful passing. I agree, Hospice is wonderful. We had them for my mom for like 2 weeks @ my sister's house before she passed away.
