| I get mine at Walmart, Joannes, and a little quilt shop here in town. They have such a great variety and they are good quality fabrics

| My walmart stinks when it comes to fabric selection too. It use to have a fairly large fabric/craft section but when they remodeled they downsized it. I've only been in one Joannes (since the closest is over an hour away), but it was absolutely fantastic w/ all the fabric selection.

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | Guess they don't think that there are too many of us crafty or wanna be crafty folks here in NY. I know there is a Joanns about a half an hour drive from me so I will try and make that drive soon. Well once I finsh the baby blanket I am working on for my friend I have to be sure to not go into project overload...lol.

| The Walmart closest to my house has a decent fabric selection and they are much cheaper than Joanne's. I also love Hancock fabrics and Ben Franklin's, but we don't have those in Michigan. I also get lots of fabrics from Ebay and Etsy.

| The new super walmart here cut out the fabric section, and really downsized the craft section. I get some at other walmarts, joannes, online, eBay. Bizzy- you are in NY, there are tons of fabric stores. I swear I could spend a month there just going through all of them

| Hmm...true...I have a friend in Queens, she said the fabric stores there are less than desired. The fabric stores in Manhattan are fabulous, but it can take a while to go through their inventory. Try online, some online stores will even send you a swatch.

| JoAnn's all the way!!! Wish they had one here though ... WalMart's selection sucks! I didn't know you could by fabric on eBay though. I'll definitely have to check that out. -Amy
