Default Price Of Gas!!!!

THIS IS NOT THE 'DON'T BUY' GAS FOR ONE DAY, BUT IT WILL SHOW YOU HOW WE CAN GET GAS BACK DOWN TO $2.00 PER GALLON.
It was sent by a retired Coca Cola executive, came from one of his engineer buddies who retired from Halliburton. If you are tired of the gas prices going up AND they will continue to rise this summer, take time to read this please. Phillip Hollsworth offered this good idea.
This makes MUCH MORE SENSE than the 'don't buy gas on a certain day' campaign that was going around last April or May! It's worth your consideration. Join the resistance!!!!
I hear we are going to hit close to $ 4.00 a gallon by summer and it might go higher!! Want gasoline prices to come down?

We need to take some intelligent, united action. The oil companies just laughed at that because they knew we wouldn't continue to 'hurt' ourselves by refusing to buy gas. It was more of an inconvenience to us than it was a problem for them. BUT, whoever thought of this idea, has come up with a plan that can Really work. Please read on and join with us!

By now you're probably thinking gasoline priced at about $2.00 is super cheap. Me too! It is currently $3.55 for regular unleaded in my town. Now that the oil companies and the OPEC nations have conditioned us to think that the cost of a gallon of g as is CHEAP at $1.50 - $1.75, we need to take aggressive action to teach them that BUYERS control the marketplace...not sellers.

With the price of gasoline going up more each day, we consumers need to take action. The only way we are going to see the price of gas come down is if we hit someone in the pocketbook by not purchasing their gas! And, we can do that WITHOUT hurting ourselves. How? Since we all rely on our cars, we can't just stop buying gas. But we CAN have an impact on gas prices if we all act together to force a price war.

Here's the idea: For the rest of this year, DON'T purchase ANY gasolin e from the two biggest companies (which now are one), EXXON and MOBIL. If they are not selling any gas, they will be inclined to reduce their prices. If they reduce their prices, the other companies will have to follow suit.
But to have an impact, we need to reach literally millions of Exxon and Mobil gas buyers. It's really simple to do! Now, don't wimp out on me at this point...keep reading an d I'll explain how simple it is to reach millions of people!!
I am sending this note to 30 people. If each of us send it to at least ten more (30 x 10 = 300) .. and those 300 send it to at least ten moree (300 x 10 = 3,000)...and so on, by the time the message reaches the sixth group of people, we will have reached over THREE MILLION consumers. If those three million get excited and pass this on to ten friends each, then 30 million people will have been contacted!

If it goes one level further, you guessed it..... THREE HUNDRED MILLION PEOPLE!!!
Again, all you have to do is send this to 10 people. That's all! (If you don't understand how we can reach 300 million and all you have to do is send this to 10 people.... Well, let's face it, you just aren't a mathematician. But I am . so trust me on this one. How long would all that take? If each of us sends this e-mail out to ten more people within one day of receipt, all 300 MILLION people could conceivably be contacted within the next 8 days!!!
I'll bet you didn't think you and I had that much potential, did you!
Acting together we can make a difference. If this makes sense to you, please pass this message on. I suggest that we not buy from EXXON/MOBIL UNTIL THEY LOWER THEIR PRICES TO THE $2.00 RANGE AND KEEP THEM DOWN. THIS CAN REALLY WORK. Keep it going

Might hit $4.00 a gallon by summer. I am already paying $4.00 a gallon in
Westchester, NY. I cringe what I'll be paying in another week.
Our government stinks! No one on this earth will convience me someone
is not making billions on this nonsence. It dosen't have to be. Whenever
something goes up it will only keep going. It's all politics!

Oh my gosh I WISH I was paying that much for gas! We are shipping oil everywhere, and right now we're paying $1.31/L which works out to $4.96/Gallon. By the end of summer it's supposed to get up to $1.60/L... so $6.06/Gallon.

You are absolutely right... In Miami Beach gas prices has already hit the $4. range... I personally never purchase gas from Mobil or Exxon... But I will pass on the message, hopefully we can make some changes...

How about MILK?? I purchase milk for $4.50-$6.00 the gallon
How about OJ? I purchase OJ for $8.00 the gallon

Cost of living has gone up, and is obvious everything else must do so too...
Just something to think about!!

Gas a few years ago around here was still $1.70 and now look at it. Something isn't right. There is just no excuse for it. Someone has to do something.

I just recieved my fuel bill for my home, in March it was $109.64 ,in April it was $35.34, I bought a new electric dryer and heat with electric (heat pump) and I knew my dryer was working overtime because of it's age so was thrilled to see a dramatic change since buying the new dryer. Well got my bill today and it jumped to $172 and some change , it's been cold here but like I said we use electric to heat with and the only thing that gas is used for is the hot water heater and I know I dont use that much hot water. Well hubby was livid, so he gets on the phone and after fighting with the computer finally gets a human to talk to, he went out and read the meter and come to find out someone dosent know how to read them cause we only owe $29.00 now. He told the person that with the price of gas and the wages they make you would think someone would know how to read the meter. I am happy that we only owe that amount but still seems alittle high just for a hot water heater. Now it makes me wonder about the $109.64 I paid in March. I really dont know how they think people can keep going on like this.

Go to a wholesale place (like Costco, BJ's or Sam's Club) I just got milk there today for $3.00. We use Fat Free milk which is a little cheaper but I think whole milk was $3.19 per gallon.
I usually buy 3 or 4 gallons at a time.

I buy 2 % right now. I really wish I could go to a costco or something like that, but the closest one is 1 hour and 45 minutes away.

I just went out and bought a smaller SUV the price of gas was killing me. I traded in my ford Bronco for an explorer. It went from over $130.00 to fill the tank to just over 50 to fill it. Yeah I got a car payment again but I had to chose the lesser of the evils.

I couldnt bring myself to buy a car.. However the ford mustang convertable at a bargain price of $50,000 was calling my name lol. If only I could afford it, just for the summer. It would of been no where near practical for me considering I need something to fit all 7 of my dogs into. Im not a car person but loved our seibring convertable we had a few years back until we got into an accident and Im still paying for that accident in my neck
