| Help a teacher? Just thought I'd ask! I am a new teacher in a high need area. I teach special ed and am in desperate need of materials. I am registered on donorchoose.org and am looking for donations for my supplies. IF anyone knows of anyone who would be interested or maybe your place of work donates, I just wanted to let you know. If you go to donorchoose.org and type in West Belden in the search box I am the one titled "Help our children succeed in school!" Thank you! |

| "Bump" I work in special ed., too, except not in a teacher capacity. We are blessed enough to be in a small community that has a high standard of education. Because of that we get anything we need to educate. Good luck in your search for donations.

| I wish we had those resources. We are in Chicago and a Charter school. We get funds from CPS, but not much. We only get $200 a year for supplies. I came in the middle of year with NOTHING in my room. I am in desperate need of a listening center for my kids. thank you! I feel bad asking for donations, but I know there are a lot of people on here, maybe some who are looking to help : ) |

| I'll bump you again. Thank you for being a teacher! I know that its a hard and thankless job somedays. I really appreciate your hard work. Hopefully one day when I have kids they will get a teacher that is so dedicated to getting them what they need.
