| "How Safe Are America's Drivers?" From The Today Show I'm going to start a new thread on this also in the "General Yorkshire Terrier Discussions" just incase this one gets deleted but I wanted everyone on YT to be aware of this due to us all having our Yorkies and taking them places with us.I was cleaning out Teddy and Galahads' play pen early this morning and the NBC Today Show was on and they was telling about our Tires on our cars causing wrecks and a lady had lost her son (He died) due to his tires being expired. They settled out of court...With 2 companies I didn't catch who they ways tho and she was trying to get a law passed to where the car manufactures had to put expiration dates on car tires. It said something about your car tires being over 6 years old that it could cause wrecks. I didn't catch all of it tho. I've searched the Today show and came up with a video I think might have been it but for some stupid reason I can't view the video, I was hoping one of you here on YT could view it for me and tell me what it says. I saw them looking at a tire and saying something about numbers on it like this: 1507...(I'm pretty sure that was the # on the tire) she said those tires they showed on the Today Show would be over the 6 year limit & there for be expired. So of course after my girls got off to school I ran out to see what was on my tires & these are what mine says 5104 which I'm thinking the 5 would be the Month the 1 would be the Date and the 04 would be the Year...If so then all 4 of my "NEW" we just had new tires put on our 05' Mustang a few months ago is expired too...This scares me to death. I checked hubbys duely chevy truck tires and couldn't find no #'s on it like I did mine so I don't know how you would tell on a truck. I feel this could affect all of us here on YT as we transport our Yorkies in our cars so many times and if it would cause us to have a wreck it could kill our Yorkies. Can someone here help me to find out more about this. I have 2 grown daughters who drives their own small cars and this has me scared to death for them and one of my grown daughters has my granddaughter too. Can anyone help me with this? Below is the link to the Today Show and the video I think that is it is titled "How Safe Are America's Drivers?" Just scroll on down the page a little and U'll see the videos and it's under the EXPLORE box titled: "How Safe Are America's Drivers?" I tried to find reading material on it & couldn't.
