| New Home for Us? Hey Bettyeanne.......we fell in love with an Open Road fifth wheel today. Can't decide between the 29' one or the one I REALLY like, the 34' one...... I think we're going to sell the Casita quick, then hightail it home to Maine and put the house up for sale, get rid of ALL our stuff, buy a one ton truck and than come back down to Florida and get our new home on the road.....Yeah.....goin' full time! Ayuh. LOTS of room for Pogo and Higgins to roam inside...... We'll come out to Colorado and visit ya! In your new Bigfoot??????? Hugs to you and Patrick and Toto. Anybody else out there travel around in an RV? I know Ana does! Wish I could drive ours across the pond and visit her in Wales! |

| My fiance's grandparents travel to Lake Ocochobee, RV there a few months out of the year. They really enjoy traveling, but have business at their home to take care of in N. Alabama and still own a home. Wow, what a decision! I am tremendously happy for you! C.'s grandparents talk about all the alligators coming closer at night when little dogs are around!!! Keep Pogo and Higgins safe in Fl. and congrats on your decision! |

| Mary Ellen?! Are you serious?? OMG!!! Full time?? An Open Road? Not sure that I can remember which one that is, but it really sounds BIG! All your STUFF?? When are y'all doing this? When can you come to Colorado? All your STUFF?? When are we getting a Big Foot? A BIG FOOT??? Will you be in Colorado in time for Patrick's interment?? We have a long weekend coming up this week and will be going down to Colorado Springs where there is a Big Foot dealership ... but we are just going to "look"? Tell me we are just going to "look"? Patrick's pulling another one of his little "Irish" pranks, isn't he? Last time he pulled one of those ... I wound up so distracted by a little 1.5 lb. ball of fur [you all know her as Toto] ... I got up on Oct. 21, 2003 and the next thing I remember is a few weeks later, looked outside and asked "what's that little "eggshaped" trailer out on the driveway? It's ours? That's nice, dear!" Didn't know what hit me!! Maybe I will be one step ahead this time? Just let me know when y'all can come to Colorado and I will just plan my little "Irishman's" demise to coincide with your visit!? Sorry, I am going to lapse into what Pat likes to refer to as my "Scarlett O'Hara mode" ... this is just too much to think about right now .... I shall think about if tomorrow, for after all ..... ! I'll get back to you on this!

| Mary Ellen!! Wow I'm so excited for you!! Let us know which one you buy! Go on, admit it you want the 34 ft one don't you?!! What an exciting life you'll have! Our motorhome is only 18 ft long - lucky we don't full time!! We will however, be touring Europe. Next January we are off to our home in Sapin, taking our time travelling there for maybe 2 or 3 months (finances allowing!) - by then little Gizzie will be spayed and microchopped etc. I am SO excited for you!! One thing I've been meaning to ask you and Bettye actually - how do you use your pc/laptop or whatever whilst travelling? With your mobile phone or maybe it's different over there anyway?! DO keep us informed as to what's happening won't you?!! Regards to you both and Pogo and Higgins of course!! Luv, Ana xxx |

| Hi again, everybody...... Kayardee, we are spending our second winter in our little 17' Casita molded fiberglass trailer at Rock Crusher Canyon RV Park in Crystal River, FL. Beautiful park, and we've made so many nice friends here. We also like Crystal River a lot and plan to return here for winters. Are you nearby? Would love to have you and your little furbaby visit us! Ah, Ana, you know me! Of course I LOVE the 34' one! It has EVERYTHING we want. Although we wanted to stay closer to the 30' size so we wouldn't have trouble visiting our favorite state and federal parks that often rule out bigger rigs....sigh.... But if it is to be our full-time home, it will also be best to really have comfortable roominess. The 34' model has a nice desk and the desk has sold Don on that model! I was really surprised that he loves the 34' one, too! We were both awake most of the night, planning......It's going to be a monumental job unloading all the stuff from a five bedroom house, double car garage/workshop and large shed. OY! I'm not looking forward to it, let me tell ya. Don't mind at all getting rid of stuff, but it's just such a big JOB. When we are on the road, we use WiFi wireless internet opportunities that can be found all across the country in truck stops, public libraries, and increasingly, most campgrounds. When we are here at Rock Crusher, we have cable and the local cable company will provide high speed internet access for $39.95 a month, so that is what we use. Would you believe we have TWO laptops in this little camper? We have a wireless router so that I can just take mine outside when I want to.......ah technology. It was 34 degrees here this morning, but it's warming up nicely! Time to take Pogo and Higgins for a stroll....... |

| "Sticky" = stickbuilt regular trailer as opposed to molded fiberglass like our dear Casitas. Said with great disdain by all egg owners. We did it. We listed the Casita for sale on the Casita Club site today and we've already had 3 serious inquiries!!!!!! We may be heading for Maine next week! Don is so nervous, he's throwing up. |

| kayaredee, that's the same way Toto reacts to her frisbee!! She knows how to "fetch" and will get it and bring it back but she won't try to catch it in the air!! She watches it until it falls and then brings it back!! Maybe if we just toss it up and catch it ourselves for a while she will get the idea?
