Im annoyed.
I picked something up for a YT member and sent it to them. All they had to do was just send me the lousy ten dollars (I think thats how much it was) and they never did. Didnt even question it. how could someone not pay for something that cost next to nothing. So I sent it out and she said the check is in the mail (yeah we've head this one before) but Im trusting and thought no problem. I trusted even more so because she claims shes a military wife. I put delivery conformation on it just to make sure they got it and they did. This person never as so much sent me a thanks they got it note and of course never sent the check in the mail they they said they were going to the post office that day to send. This was a few months ago.
If anyone wants to know who it is just PM me so you never do anything for this person again. I dont know if I can put a persons name or YT name out in the open so Im not.
Its not even about the money its about the fact that they didnt even acknowledge the fact that they received it or not even a thanks.
Guess its as much seller beware as it is buyer beware.
You know who you are.

Ok feeling better that I got to vent a little. Im so not a complainer and have been walked over in the past but still decided to trust a complete stranger and got burned.

I'm sorry this happened to you. It's too back people don't stick behind their word anymore, and even more so, it too bad we can't trust people who seem trustworthy.......

Sorry that happened to you. You have tried to resolve it with this person, right? I just always err on the side of caution as I know how situations can sometimes not be what they appear.

And if you think I am ridiculously optimistic, we have been scammed two times in the last few months - once for $160 (typical scam) and once for $40(outrageous can't-believe-that-happened scam). Us, the careful, dot your i's and cross your t's people!! But we don't really spend too much time lamenting over it. Lessons learned, and we move on. The hubby and I actually joke about it.

Someone at work sent me a joke email that they thought would comfort me. It included "If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably a wise investment." I laughed and moved on. I understand your desire to warn others, but try not to spend too much energy on being angry.

I had this happen to me with someone who is a former member of YT.

I just chalked it up to a lack of character on their part and forgot about it.

I was going to say maybe the check got lost in the mail but if you PMed them and they never responded, it sure sounds like they never sent payment. And they should have at least let you know they got it and said thankyou for picking it up for them.

I've had YT members get something for me and send it to me before. I always let them know I got it and tell them thankyou. And I can't even imagine not paying them for it

One thing that always worries me when I read threads like this though is that someone will send me something and I won't get it. And the person that sent it will think I"m rude because I didn't say anything about it...but I actually didn't know anything about it. Not that it relates to this thread..but more so from others I've seen where somebody sends a person a gift and never gets a thankyou. I just think..crap..I hope someone doesn't send me something one day and me not get it and then I look rude because I didn't say thanks

Educate yourself and buy from reputable breeders or rescue.
