| Mother's Day Just wondering what everyone is buying for Mother's Day? I am thinking of something special to buy for my mother that is thousands of miles away but can't seem to think of anything practical and appropriate.

| I've noticed that if I give my Mother clothing she won't use it. If I give jewlery she saves it for a special day and then forgets. So--what I do now (last 2 years) is I have 3 kids, I have each one walk in and hand her a vase of flowers, potted variety mix from Home Depot, or a beautiful plant. She actually seems to love it! She get's so excited watching each child carry something in. Good Luck I'm sure you will come up with something great!

| I was just thinking, if you aren't going to be able to see her for Mother's Day, send her some flowers and a nice long chat on the phone.

YT 2000 Club Member | We alway's give my mother in law something that has a Bee on it because that is what the grand kids call her, Grandma Bee. this year I got a big Tara cotta planter and painted it up with a bunch of wild flowers all around and a bunch of bees flying around that I used all 10 of her grand kids finger prints to make the body of the bees, if you look in a bee's wing it will have that grandkids initials in it I then filled it with silk flowers that go with her colors in her living room. The funny thing is before I started to paint it I asked her to but her thumb print on it for me and I made that one with a crown on it's head so she will be the Queen Bee! I can't wait for her to see it!! My mom collects tea pots and she has a green thumb and loves roses. Her Birthday is May 6 so if we give her a rose bush, then she gets a teapot for Mother's day and vice versa, she is so easy to please

| I just sent my mom her gifts today. I got her one of her favorite soy candles and a new pic of her grandkids (aka Simon and Hallie) and a beautiful card that has flower seeds on it so she can plant it |

| I really didn't know what I was going to get my mom, but today a Chicago Bears player came into my work...she's a huge Bears fan and last time one came to my work she was very upset that I didn't get an autograph, so I asked him for an autograph for my mom. I'm so excited to give it to her!

| I got this catalog in the mail...pajama gram (pajamagram.com). It's got some really cute jammies and robes for reasonable prices, comes in a cute hatbox. Now to decide which Pj's to get her, and of course the flowers. |

| I'm the senior MOM in the family now. My daughter is going to the Tigers/Yankees game in Detroit with her family for the day. I get our youngest grand-d for the day and we're going to my sister's for her birthday. My family knows that I want a Pink MLB bat from the ballpark for MD.

| We got my mom a Wii for her birthday in April, and we got her Wii Fit (exercise - Yoga, balance, arobics). She will love it.
