| this frustrates me i am soooooooooooo hungry but i cant eat a darn thing, my TMJ is acting up and i cant chew without my jaw "partialy dislocating"..... it is soooooo frustrating not being able to eat anything but soup or mush or jello on a bad TMJ morning |

| My cousin has that and they told her they could correct it by getting braces.. But she doesnt seem to think that would work. |

| Sorry to hear you're having a bad TMJ day. I hope you feel better soon and can eat some "real food." Is there anything they can do to correct it. My cousin has that and they told her there was some surgery, but hers isn't really bad. It only bothers her when she tries to open her mouth real wide to eat things like an apple or something.

| it only happens once in a wihle so surgery is not an option for the insurance company.... or me either, i dont like surgery, it sucks....... |

| I have TMJ too... I have to sleep with a mouth piece in.. I have already had 3 made because i chew right through them!! Good luck and i hope you feel better

| Ok. I cannot find anywhere online explaining what TMJ is. somethign something jaw? Anyone? I think I have it if it means locking your jaw and grinding your teeth in your sleep...

| I feel for you. I had surgery for on my jaw and now in need of another one. I sleep with a splint to help with the pain. |
