| new digital camera? I am in search of a new digital camera. I have one of those expensive SRL ones...kinda umcomfy to take to things like concerts and stuff. Does anyone have any good suggestions for a 7 plus MP small digital camera?

| I have heard people comment on how well they like the Kodak easyshare and the Exilium (?) .... I will have to search to see if I can find those "camera" threads.

| I just bought the Kodak Easyshare on Monday. It is real small, easy to use and the picture quality is really good.

| I just got the new blue canon power shot 8.0 mp and love it. I had the model from about 2 years ago which was maybe 4 or 5 mp's and I can totally tell the difference. You can take pictures quickly right after each other which helps when you are trying to snap the perfect picture of the little rugrats.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | For good stuff, I have a Nikon D40 SLR - with either a 18-55mm or 50mm 1.8 (love it). For portability, I have the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FXO7 - really nice and small point and shoot. BUT, it has a Leica lens - if you can believe that! So, for it's size and price - you cannot beat it with that lens. Can't remember the pixels - but I'm sure within the same line, they make the pixels you're looking for.

| I have a Sony cybershot. It has 7.2 MP. It's really small, that's what I like about it. Also it was really cheap, $80.00 and I think it takes great pictures.

| I have a small Olympus Stylus 710 that is 7.1 megapixel. I don't know anything about a camera lens but it says AF 3x optical zoom 6.5 - 19.5 mm 1:3.4 - 5.7. I think it's really easy to use. I've had it for at least a year and accidentally found out that I can use it like mini-camcorder! It even recorded sound.

| I have the exilim 7.2 mega pixil and I love mine. Ive had very good luck with this brand. I have 2 others with less mega pixils. My husband is using one in Iraq and my kids got our first one. The Iraq one has lasted 3 years and done a year in Iraq previously. I love the anti shake feature. I can take great pictures of my daughters dance recitals and it even does well for filing. |
