| Update on my gramma My gramma is getting out of the rehabilition place that she went to following the hospital. She is doing much better. Will have to have oxygen at all times with her but it is good news that she can go home. She had to give up her cat so I took him. Will take some pics once he is good and settled in. |

| Im not to thrilled about taking the cat but no one else wants him and I refuse to let him go out of the family. He is old and fat. But he is a lover and I love him. Just dont like having to have a litter box |

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | oooooh we have 2 cats. the only real problem with a litter box is that they kick the litter out of it sometimes. good luck and i will continue to keep your gramma in my thoughts and prayers

| Kelly, Im so happy that your gramma is doing much better and is finally going home. I will keep her in my prayers. Im glad that you are taking in her cat. How your doggies will react to his present? I hope everything works out. Just try to keep his kitty litter where the dogs can get into it. Remember kitty litter crunchies, yuk. JK. |

| Kelly~ It is such good news that she gets to come home. Even with the oxygen thing, it's so much better than the hospital. What is the cat's name? I put Paris' litterbox on the counter in the laundryroom beside the dryer and I keep her food and water on that counter and we call that "kitty korner" and the dogs cannot get to it. I invested in one of those electric self cleaning litter boxes with a cover and it is so easy to maintain. I love it. Well worth the money. Good luck and congratulations on your new addition. |

| I am so glad to hear that your grandma is doing better and is able to come home. I am sure it means a lot to her that you took her beloved cat. I am not a huge cat person either but somehow I do own 2. I invested in the self cleaning kitty box and have it set up basically the same way that Kim above does in a kitty corner concept and for the most part I have to say somedays I actually have to look for them to make sure they are still here in the house because I really don't see them too much.

| Nope, I guess my cats know I am not a cat person so they kind of stay away. I pay attention to them if they do come by me but for the most part they are my 12 year old daughters babies. Since it has been summer vacation she has been between here and Minnesota to spend time with her sister my other daughter so for the most part I haven't seen the cats too much but once she comes back next week it will be a different story because they actually will stand outside her door and call to her to let them in by her. She is with them I guess like I am with Teddy.

| Wow, Megan that is pretty neat! My daughter Alyssa will actually be turning 13 here on the 8th of August. But she has also had Snickers who is out oldest cat since she was 3 also and that was her first pet as well. Our other cat Mickey was a rescue. Back home some people don't have brains and the way they get rid of unwanted kittens is by throwing them against walls and breaking their necks. I know isn't that aweful!!!! Well, that's what they tried to do to Mickey until I stepped in and threatened to throw them against the wall.
