| Incredible pictures...pit bull vs. porcupine. My mom sent this to me in an email and I had to share. Unbelievable! Apparently a pit bull got into a confrontation with a porcupine and stood up to it. Brave, but stupid. A vet sedated the dog, and then removed a total of 1,347 quills. The dog survived, and hopefully learned a valuable lesson. Now, tell me you had a bad day!! Pics below!!! |

| Aww, poor thing. My cousin's dog tangled with a porcupine once - it took a while, but we got all the quills out. It's like taking out fishing hooks. We had to poke some of them all the way thru his muzzle but it wasn't anywhere near as bad as this poor pup.

| That is horrible!!! OUCH!!! I heard they were like fishing hooks too! Sounds and looks very painful!

| That's what I was thinking!! Looks like they went in his eyes as well ! Wonder what the porcupine looked like after losing that many quills! It must have been half bald!
