| OMG need to talk Okay I have to get this off my chest. I just talked with my 17 year old sister who proceded to tell me that she thinks she may be pregnant. OMG She does not want me to say anything to our parents. I told her that she needs to test ASAP and find out.... well after i ripped her a new one for not using anything!! So I need to know how early can morning sickness set in. She would only be about 3 or 4 weeks. Both of my boys were much later than that I think that both was about 6 or 7 weeks. She said this was the only time so it could not have happened earlier since they live several hours apart. Sorry for the novel but I am flabbergasted Thanks Jamie and Hunter |

| pregnancy symptoms vary from person to person. She could test now but that also depends on the person, I tested when I wasnt even late yet and i got a faint positive, my cousin never gets accurate results on home pregnancy test. ask her when her first day of her last period was and count 14 days later, that would be her ovulation date, if she had sex 3 days before and 1 day after she very well could be with child. That too depends if she has a normal cycle.

| At 3 weeks, a friend of mine had significant breast tenderness. So bad, it was uncomfortable for her to lay on her stomach. A side note...today is April Fools...is your sister the type that would play a really bad prank on you?

| I only wish this was a joke. But she was serious. She would not talk to me in person so she sent emails and had to get off the computer before I could find out about her period. She said she is going to test tomorrow at lunch . I will be on her tomorrow afternoon to be sure she did it. I was a mean sister and told her if she is old enough to do it then she is old enough to buy her own test not one of her friends. That is my view if you are not brave enough to purchase items dealing with sex you are not old enough to do it THanks so much everyone. I needed to get that out and my husband is still at work and the other person I usually talk to is my mom but I will give my sis a chance to test and tell them on her own. |

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | Could you go with your sister when she tells your parents? Maybe she'd feel more comfortable if you're there with her. This must be a huge shock to you. and I'm sure your sister is terrified. Good luck to you and your family! I hope it all works out.

| She could actually test at anytime... The pregnancy test are so sensitive now a days...but, regardless.....it is probably not positive......I think I remember that a person can get preg like 12 hrs of the cycle....so the timeframe is slim...... She needs your support.....and if she is....well, just be there for her.....like sisters do..... |

| O I will be there for her more than likely I think it has not dawned on her how hard it will be. Her BF is 18 and senior has no job no college ambition and his only job ambition is to be a boxer. So I am praying this is a false alarm. I am just still shocked and a little mad that she did not listen to me. It is hard to remember that I am her sister and not the other mother since she is 12 yrs younger than me. I have talked with her several times about protection and such. I know they think they are in love but you still have to use your brain. But if that is the caseand she is my parents will not take her to see him so I don't know how this will work since he lives about 3-4 hours ago(internet romance) Jamie |

| We will be here for you should you need us tomorrow... I think of how badly I wanted a little girl.......although, I never worried about being pregnant.....was alway so dissappointed when I wasn't.....so, I tend to believe in " God does not give us more than we can handle." And am thankful for 3 boys! Will be thinking of you both tomorrow... |

| Is there a reason she is going to test at lunch time. I believe most tests say the first morning urine is the best. Praying that she's not & that this is enough to scare her into thinking clearer! Grown up actions call for very grown up responsibilities

| back 37 years ago I did a pregnancy test.. from the drug store on the first day I missed.. it said I was prego.. and I was.. so you can tell that early most cases.. you should not have to wait for morning sickness to set in...hope that helps.. Those can be pretty scary times.. |
