| I would rather give birth.... then got to the dentist! I have always been afraid of the dentist. (sissy ) I had to have two root canals! BUT, it turned out ok. She was a VERY good dentist. I never felt a thing. She said I will be hurting tomorrow. So far so good. My mouth was so numb, all the way to my nose! lol. My top lip felt as though it was the size of my fist. Every time I took a drink it would dibble down my shirt. But I did it. (i put it off for along time, out of fear) I have to go back once a week for about 3 weeks for fittings and caps. But hey, I'll look a heck of alot better.

| I've had one root canal and it wasn't bad at all (i had heard all the horror stories and was terrfied). The worst part was that burning smell, lol. I didnt hurt at all the next day.Hopefully you won't feel any pain either. I hate the time it takes at my dentist! I went in today just to get my teeth cleaned. I had to wait an HOUR in the waiting room, and I had an appt!

| dentist I can take root canals and drilling...the Dr makes sure you feel nothing or he knows you will find another dentist. It has always been 100% pain free and even after it is fine. I have left my present dentist because of his staff...the hygienist is a sadist and the tech who fits the crowns must have trained in a torture dungeon. She pulled my temporary crown off to fit the new one and the sharp pain made me jump half way out of the chair...she acts snotty and said there were no nerves so I could not have felt any REAL pain... I had pain after my last cleaning, I could barely brush my teeth the next day... |

| Ive had a root canal and crown put on...didn't hurt one bit during or after. what was uncomfortable(no pain) was when they take out the temp crown, he didnt numb me so I felt all the tugging and pulling, so I would ask to be numb for that

| I told the dentist once that I would rather give birth than see him. He laughed so hard. And I had drug free labors! I am terrified of the dentist. I had a horrible experience, with a horrible dentist as a child, and I have never really healed from it.

| I LOVE going!! Every six months I just meditate in the chair while my teeth are being cleaned and most times they shake me to tell me to keep my head stiff because it's too limp. |
