| Lori, I don't know if this will help... a very dear friend of mine had.. Mesothelioma of the lungs. It is basically cancer of the outer lining of the lung. I don't know if this is the same as what your grandma has. If you google Mesothelioma, there is a lot of intfo on it. Thinking of you sweetie. Hugs, Sheilagh (just like Sheila lol)

| Did she ever come into contact with asbestos? Asbestos is the primary cause of this cancer. I hope you find the answers you need. My friend lived for 14 years after being diagnosed. Sheilagh

| What industry did she work in? I have experience as a legal assistant in asbestos litigation. Even if she did not have direct exposure to asbestos through industry, mesothelioma can be acquired by a wife who regularly washed her husbands asbestos covered work clothes over a period of years.

| I don't have any answers for you Lori on that type of lung cancer. Both my parents had lung cancer but not that type. I wish your grandma the best of luck in getting good news with her Biopsy results. Take Care....Lori.
