| Experienced Ebay sellers I need your help I posted a handbag on ebay yesterday and so far it was viewed about 80 times, there are four watchers and I received 1 message from a potential buyer .the brand of the handbag sells really well ..however no one placed a bid yet ..., could it be because i dont have any feedback? |

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | it could possibly be for that reason. when i buy things i look at the sellers rating and feedback to see if there are too many negative comments left in the last couple months and to see how many other items they have sold.

| you wait til the last minute to bid so you get the lowest price and to make sure you win the item..

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I will wait and think about my possible purchases and what I want to bid. If after looking several times I still really want the item I'll research to get a better idea of what like items will sell for. If after researching and the item is within the price range of what I want to pay, I'll bid. I just don't like to make bidding decisions too hastily.

| Is it good to have 5 watchers so far ? Does it mean that all of them are waiting till the last minute to start bidding ? |

I've never sold, only bought on ebay. As a seller can you tell how many individual watchers you have? You posted you've had 80 views, but as a seller you have information that those 80 views have been from 5 watchers? I would say there is a good chance they are waiting to bid so as not to give away that they are interested thus increasing their chance of winning at a lower bid.

| when I see an item I am interested in I always "watch" it. I do not bid until the end is near. I feel if I bid early, then next person will outbid me and so on and before you know it the price is already high and it still has 2 days left. everyone is different but thats my take on it lol good luck on your sale!

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I think it will probably sell, it's just early in your auction. And, if 5 are watching, you know they're interested. I always click to watch in my ebay if I'm interested enough to bid later on.
