| I did when I was a lot younger. I would usually just use the preprinted ones. I don't anymore though, b/c our walmart does not carry ANY crossstiching stuff anymore, not even the thread.

| I cross stitch all of the time and I have some very simple and some very complicated patterns. I've been cross stitching for about 30 years. What are you looking for? |

| I've cross stitched for many years now. Gee, it's kinda difficult to describe how to do it. I recommend one of those 9" x 12" soft backed booklets from Joann's or Michael's that's for beginners and takes you step by step. If you're looking for beginner patterns, there's small kits from Joann's or Michael's you could try. Everything is included in them which is nice. They are usually hanging up near the top of the displays. There's a lot of nice ones to choose from. Good luck and I hope you have fun. |

| If you're looking to learn counted cross stitch then I'd recommend getting a small pattern, say 3"x3". Over here in the UK we have cross stitching magazines that come with a kit, (the aida, threads, needle and pattern) and they aren't very expensive. I've been cross stitching for about 13 years now, since I was 12, and I really enjoy it, I find it relaxing. I think I started off with pre-printed fabric pattern that my mum got for me and once I'd got used to doing the stitches right she got me a small counted patern of a fox. Try to pick something not to complicated for your first counted pattern though. Good luck.

| I am a cross stitch addict! I don't have that much time to do it much anymore because of my bow business, though. It's very easy to teach yourself. I'd Google "cross stitch directions" or "how to cross stitch and I'm sure you'll get tons of hits. Here are a few pet designs I've done. I've just finished the Yorkie counterpart to the other two so it's not even framed yet. |
