| Tomorrow is the BIG day Well, tomorrow is the day I get to pick up Lily Mae.. I am freaking out... I actually had a rough morning.. I recieved Mocha's ashes this morning and that made me really upset.. I put her on the shelf with Jellybean (my cat who died in 2001)... I have their pictures on the shelf with them sort of like a memorial.. I just need to go through Mochas things tonight or tomorrow so I am set for Lily.. I will use her crate, her bed, and her toys!! I am also really nervous about getting this new baby.. I am so scared she will have an accident and wind up like Mocha.. Do you have advice for me as to how to calm down and not worry?? Thanks.. you guys are the best

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | oh we went through the same thing with bandit and tucker. just remember that its a new dog, a new expierance. you can't be too parinoied about it, just take saftey precautions. its good that you have a little memorial for her. that will help with the pain. we have one for bandit too. it has a pic of him, his ashes, and sympathy cards we got. i wish you luck your new baby is so cute!

| I'm so so sorry for the loss of your little Mocha but I know Lily Mae will help soothe the pain and fill the sadness in your heart. Good luck!

| be prepared Hi Brooke I know the pain of losing a pet to a tragic accident and also to old age I got my yorkie baby 2 months ago and lost my darling harriet last nov the grief was still raw for me and I was so looking foward to getting prudence but I felt quite down the first couple of weeks as the memories of my darling harriet kept flowing back to me and the grief of losing her made me not want to get to close to prudence in case I lost her and I was paranoid about her saftey.Just be prepared to feel these emotions as it is still early days for you but really enjoy your new baby like I do and please post us some picks. dianne |

| Brooke, you must be soooo excited! Just keep busy and try to get some rest tonight. Remember how much work a new puppy is???? You'll need all your energy for when sweet little Lily Mae comes home.

| As I have said before, I am glad Lily is a Maltese/Poodle and not a yorkie because I would have felt like I am replacing Mocha.. Also, this dog already seems calmer than Mocha was when I got her.. I am not going to get any sleep tonight cause I am so nervous.. I'm sleeping at my friends house tonight (her parents are away and she's afraid to be in her big house alone) and she has 2 malteses so she said i can sleep with them to get ready for my baby!! ANyway, I promise I will post pictures 2morrow afternoon!!

| Just say a prayer for the past and then think toward the future while learning from past experiences and love her. That's all you can do. Congratulations!
