| Anyone tried Phentramin-d?? Diet Pill! Last weekend I went to a "doctor" at a clinic that gives out diet pill prescriptions. He gave me phentermine. After I took it for 3 days I could hardly breathe and my chest hurt really bad. Turns out the phentermine interacts with my Lexapro. I'm lucky I started researching it, or I honestly think it could have killed me. Phentramin-d is non prescription. It is supposed to be like phentermine but not nearly as strong and none of the side affects. (Phentermine has awful side affects) I am eating healthy, drinking lots of water and exercising. But I need a little extra help. Has anyone tried the Phentramin-d? It seems to be getting good reviews

| I think if you are eating healthy, exercising and drinking lots of water then you don't need pills... they are dangerous to take and unnecessary! Watch you'll see your hard work start showing really soon w/o the pills. If you do decide to take them though, make sure you talk to your doctor about side effects and interactions with other drugs you are taking. Id hate to hear anything happen to you. My brother's good friend died last year from taking diet pills. It was very tragic and could have been prevented! Just be careful! And good job with making healthy living a part of your lifestyle! Thats what its all about Im cheering you on!!!!

| Yes, I took adipex..the diet dr. gave them to me years ago..I lost 60 lbs in 3 mos. but, put it back on..I also ordered some of them online, but, have decided now to do it on my own..the phentermine aren't good for you...what it actually is, is speed...Try counting calories(around 1200-1500 a day), drinking a lot of water and walking, you will lose it.. |

I was scared for the few days I was on it. I don't think my body liked it at all. A few times I had such a hard time breathing I really thought I was going to die.

| I know you're supposed to stay away from diet pills if you have high blood pressure..but, I have talked to a lot of people that had the same feelings you had while taking them..they didn't give me any energy or have any of those side effects, I just was not hungry and wouldn't eat anything..I was lucky to get 500 calories down a day..I was thinking about trying that ALI, but, my son's fiance has got one year left of nursing school, plus she's a pharmacy tech, and she told me I wouldn't want to take that, as I eat foods that have fat in them, which will give you diarrhea..I know the package says to wear dark clothing...LOL It's too bad you weren't closer, we could diet and walk together. |

| Phentramin-d ? I've never heard of that. I've been thinking about trying Phentramine... My best friend is taking it and has already lost over 20 lbs this month :O! She says it makes her feel kinda out there and that she cant focus well on it at all. I've kinda decided not to try it because I'm ALOT smaller than she is and really the Dr. probably shouldn't even give it to me in the first place. (Although he would because he is a "backwoods" country dr.lol) But I'd like to try the Phentramin-D. Where do you buy it? If I find it I'll write you and let you know how I feel on it.

| I've taken the plain ole Phentermine before and it worked wonders! (Granted, I have not health issues it would interfere with.) I'll say every once in a while I got headaches and it made me really thirsty with a metallic taste in my mouth. I kept the weight off for years...sadly, I have since found what I lost...my own fault. |

| Please stay away from the phentermine...My future d-i-l, besides becoming a nurse in a year, has been a pharmacy tech for 3 years..she knows her stuff, and they CAN do damage to your heart...I just wish I would have known back when I took them just how dangerous they were...you can lose on your own, you just have to set your mind to do it...I just started my diet last week, and have lost 4 lbs. already, just by cutting back on eating, and what I eat..as soon as it gets nicer out, am going to get back in to walking...and drink lots of water!
