| Question for crafters... When you buy the premade wooden things (boxes, shelves, picture frames, cutouts, etc.) from craft stores do you have to prime them before you paint them? Thanks!

| I do. I also sand them. It just makes a smoother looking result, and it makes the expensive paint go further.

| I would say yes. I did anyways. If it's actually wooden, the grain will show thru. If you have the particle board stuff you might get away without primer if you really wanted. |
