| Allergic to Body Polish Shower Stuff-Fun Times So I was trying out a new body scrub in the shower and the scent was a little strong but I didn't think anything of it. Took my shower, got out, was a little red but I was using really hot water to warm up (I know it's bad). I put my oh so sexy monkey flannel pajamas on and came to watch tv. I was sitting here and my arms and legs started to burn and itch.......they were BRIGHT RED!! So I hurried back and rinsed off with cool water but OUCH! I think I have officially killed off my dry skin. |

| I hope you where able to rinse yours off.....sometimes the effects last for hours....You never know what's in that stuff... Once I used a scrub by Joan Rivers ( it smell great!)....After I dried and dressed in my P.J.'s my thighs started itching like crazy!!.....I even rinsed but it didn't help.......I had to throw it out....nothing worse than lying in bed trying too sleep and having to scratch all night.....Hope your feeling better..

| Just a thought..... If you have this problem a lot there's a site that tests all kinds off personal care products for safety, including baby products...you can find one with the least amount of bad chemicals in it.... http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com/index.php?nothanks=1

| Soooo sorry...There isn't much you can do to help the itch and burn. I am that way w/ a lot of different body washes and lotions...my dermatologist have me some kind of cream to put on when I break out in a rash. Oooo...I forgot...there is a lotion (over the counter) called Sarna...that should help too!

| I react to lots of that stuff too. It's a pity because I love anything that smells good Since I can't use body scrubs, I've been using this body oil by Burt's Bees with almond oil, lemon oil, and vitamin e. It's not heavy and I use it all over. Love it.
