| I want to see this too - and I always read Ebert and Roeper's reviews before going to see a movie! I don't want to pay to see a crappy movie, and I really trust their opinions! My husband Eli teases me and says I'm silly for listening to their opinions so much - I'm glad I'm not alone in my respect for E and R!

Well Ill probably just wait until it comes on dvd, lol too lazy to site through the movies not being able to lay down Actually jk, its just that movies get to be expensive after tickets, water, and the bathroom (they charge to use the bathroom at our movie theatre, there is a sign that says "going bankrupt").............. | My boyfriend will take you! He loves Willy Wonka! I watched it for the first time about a year ago and wasn't that impressed. I think you have to have watched it as a kid to get a good appreciation for it. But I understand why people would like it.

| How do you get all of your movies for free??? Val ~ I love E & R. I hang out in E's building all the time. Siskel was the best, but sadly, he passed away recently after a battle w/ cancer. Rosie ~ Sure! Bryan's cute! LOL. yes, I loved Willy Wonka as a kid. I wanted to be Veruca Salt. Brooke ~ I totally believed what you said about paying to use the bathroom and freaked out at first! The only time I ever had to pay to use a 'Loo' was in London @ a train station! and I was appalled!

| I read the book by Roald Dahl about 300 times when I was a kid. I loved it so much, my boyfriend bought me a first edition hardback last Christmas. Anyway, I read that book so much as a kid, when I finally saw the Gene Wilder one, I was soooo disappointed because nothing fit what I had imagined while reading the book. Anyway, Johnny Depp kinda scares me...he looks creepy in a Michael Jackson way. |

| I Agree with Junebug, JD looks a little Jacko-ish, but all the papers in NYC are raving about this flick. I think I will take my boy this weekend. |

| The funny thing is I was weirded out by the movie at first, ad thought it wouldnt compare to the orginal, but after a longer trailer I really would like to see it. As far as the JOhnny depp look, he says it was unintensional, last thing he wanted to look like was Micheal Jackson, I guess sometimes their creative genius is a little off kilter. But he usually does a good job, I guess I will see.
